Wish For Wings

Wish For Wings are a hardcore band from Brisbane, Australia. The members of the band are very dedicated and supportive of the straight edge philosophy. They are known for their intense shows and are a cornerstone of the Australian hardcore scene. They have also released an EP "From the Past To the Grave" which was distributed locally.

Far West Battlefront

Thrash band from Adelaide with hardcore breakdowns. Rumoured to run the Brighton mafia based in Dunluce Avenue with an unknown naked accomplice. Far West Battlefront have had tracks featured in renowned UK magazines Terrorizer and Metal Hammer, while also receiving consistent airplay on triple J's Full Metal Racket. This coverage has lead to support slots with Haste The Day (USA) The Acacia Strain (USA) and The Red Shore.

Stories

There have been at least two bands with the name 'Stories' (as opposed to 'The Stories'). 1) Stories was a short-lived art rock band based out of New York City in the early 1970s. The band consisted of keyboardist Michael Brown (ex-The Left Banke), bassist/vocalist Ian Lloyd, guitarist Steve Love, and drummer Bryan Madey, and had a fluke hit with a cover of Hot Chocolate's "Brother Louie" on their second album ABOUT US. 2. Winter Solstice (Australian Folk Band) 1. Winter Solstice was a Christian metalcore band from Lynchburg, Virginia. They were signed to Metal Blade Records and have disbanded, as of July 2006. Some of the former members have come together with members of Everything Falls Together and formed a new band, Ghost of a Fallen Age. The lead singer is now in the band We Were Gentlemen

All That Remains

All That Remains is a Massachusetts, United States-based metalcore band. Originally established in 1998, the group is currently signed to Prosthetic Records. Vocalist Philip Labonte was previously singer for the metal band Shadows Fall before he was replaced by Brian Fair. The band's debut album, Behind Silence and Solitude, was released in March 2002, prompting DigitalMetal.com to hail the group as "one of the premier metalcore acts this side of the Atlantic.

There are at least two bands called Malakai. One is a four piece metal band from Phoenix Arizona, US, and the other is a two-piece band from Bristol, UK. The following is about the Bristol Band:
They comprise of Gee (vocals) and Scott (music). Their sound is a mix of beats and samples, drawing on a wide range of influences from dub to sixties pop, all tied together by Gee’s distinctive voice.

First Blood

There is more than one artist with that name: 1. With a strong lineup boasting current and ex-members of Terror and Sworn Vengeance, First Blood brought their self-titled debut EP to the masses in 2003. In 2004, they continued their assault with their split 7" EP release entitled "The Dead Man's Hand 03" with Philadelphia's own Blacklisted. Now in 2006, the band plans to unleash their crushing debut full-length "Killafornia" to the world on Trustkill Records.
