Refrain is at least 3 bands: 1. Refrain was heavy metal band from Kuopio, Finland and was formed in 2004. In 2005 they released demo Psychosis and in 2006 EP Justice for the Undead. Their activity ended in 2007 - 2008.

There are at least six artists using the name - not to be confused w/ The Machete (Finland thrash metal band). 1) An upstate NY band that employs deep swelling synthesized bass with the raw energy of classic punk and new wave… The sound runs the gamut from heavy punk to dark pop without alienating either crowd. Mindset was formed in 1994 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. Early influences included Helmet, King's X and Rage Against The Machine among many others. The bands sound was a striped down mix of tight rhythms, low tuned guitars, grinding bass and aggressive yet melodic vocals.

The Chariot

There are five bands with a similar name: 1. "The Chariot" The Chariot is a metalcore band signed to newly formed label Good Fight Music after putting out their prior three studio albums through Solid State Records. The Chariot was formed in 2003 by ex-Norma Jean front man Josh Scogin. Their debut full length album "Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, And Nothing Is Bleeding" was recorded entirely in one take, and was unmastered, which gave it more of a raw feel that was very similar to their live sound.
