Boys Like Girls is a pop rock band which formed in Andover, Massachusetts, United States in 2005. The band currently consists of Martin Johnson (vocals, guitar), Paul DiGiovanni (guitar, vocals), Morgan Dorr (bass) and John Keefe (drums). The group's original bassist, Bryan Donahue, left the band in 2011. As of February 2011 the band announced they would be going on an indefinite hiatus. Recently, on November 17th, 2011, Martin Johnson tweeted "...#boyslikegirlsisback", revealing that the group has not broken up, rather that the members are taking a rest and engaging in various side projects.
One Dollar Short are an Australian punk rock band. Hailing from Central Coast New South Wales, their debut top 40 single "Board Game" charted at #37 on the Australian ARIAnet singles chart in 2001. Their most successful non-LP release was the EP, Press And Hold, (containing fan favourite "Satellite"), which charted at #22 in the same year. Their debut album also charted at #7 on the albums chart in 2002.

When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes, was released on March 22nd, 2011 via Hopeless Records. Their music features a rare contribution to the genre, incorporating the use of a violin. Simple Plan is a pop punk band from Montréal, Québec. The band has had no line up changes since its inception in 1999. Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario, active since 1996. The current members are Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass guitar, backing vocals), Steve Jocz (drums, backing vocals), and Tom Thacker (lead guitar, backing vocals, keyboard).
In 1999, the band signed an international record deal with Island Records. Since then, the band has released four studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum in Canada. You Me At Six are a 5-piece pop/pop punk band from Weybridge, Surrey who formed in 2005. The five piece played locally until early 2007 when spring support slots with Saosin at Leeds Cockpit (03.05.07) and later Paramore at the Colchester Arts Centre (10.06.07) saw them attract media attention from the likes of Kerrang, Musicscoop and NME. In July 2007 they supported Tonight Is Goodbye on their summer tour along with Death Can Dance and then later that month were featured in Kerrang! magazine in their new music section.
