Marcel Dettmann

Resident DJ at Berghain in Berlin. Three hours ago he had caught the last train after a gig in Leipzig, heading for his set in Berlin the very same night. But Dettmann missed to get off – and suddenly has found himself stuck at dead end Hamburg main station: no trains till morning, no one to call for a ride. Promptly – and without any hesitation about the ridiculous charge – he hires a cab,
having only one thing in mind: Berlin, Berghain, the Club …

Nathan Fake

Nathan Fake is 27 years of age (born in 1983), and yes, that is his real name. He hails from that most unlikely hotbed of new musical talent, the deepest, darkest farmer country of Norfolk, UK. Two years ago Nathan, headed for the bright lights and big city of Reading(!), and since then has never looked back. Nathan exploded onto the scene last year with the mighty ‘Outhouse’ on James Holden’s Border Community label, one of the most astounding debut singles in a long time which has surely now earned classic status, still receiving regular club and radio plays one year down the line.

Deetron

The man behind Deetron is Sam Geiser (1978) born and still living in Bern. He first got into contact with music during his early childhood, for his father is a Jazz musician. His big youth passion, however, was HipHop. He was fascinated by the likes of Gang Starr, A Tribe Called Quest, Prince Paul but also by Todd Terry?s early HipHouse tunes or Detroit techno originators Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. After having bought two turntables and a mixer, he began deejayin? Hip Hop in 1992.

The influences & progression over the years helped P.Scott to develope his own style when it came to spinning records. This style has evolved into P.Scott's musical production - Now enter Sistrum Recordings. Sistrum Recordings is P.Scott's new venture straight out of Detroit. Sistrum Recordings offically launched Oct 2006.

Jacques Lu Cont

Jacques Lu Cont, born as Stuart Price on Sept. 7 1977, is the same gentleman who brings you Madonna's tour this year (2006), as he is her manager. Reportedly, he has said that the Human League's album 'Dare' inspired his sound the most, as evidenced by the video "Hey You What's That Sound," which looks amazingly like Madonna's "Hung Up." Hmm. He also laid down some sexy beats to her Confessions album...

Redshape

Trying to describe Redshape's sound is kind of a hard task, sitting somewhere between everything in dance music and his very own imagination. It's not minimal, not maximal and always historical respecting the vibe of Detroit. Repetition is something Redshape works hard to prevent, so his live shows - which brought him to nearly every known European club - morph and develop everytime to never play the same show a second time.
