There are three groups called Manners. 1. Manners is a hardcore band from New Haven/Hartford, Connecticut, formed in 2010. The band is composed of vocalist Chris Hague, guitarists Ian Edgerly and Jay Holmes, bassist Michael Magas, and drummer Danny Sheridan. San Jose, California based HeavyHeavyLowLow was formed in 2004, and gained notoriety largely through word of mouth, internet hype and extensive touring. The quintet consisted of vocalist Robbie Smith, guitarists Ryan Madden and Danny Rankin, and brothers Chris and Andrew Fritter (drums and bass, respectively). Their album "Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watching", an eleven song session of metal/thrash/hardcore/grindcore recordings, was released on New Weathermen records, an imprint of Ferret, in September of 2006.
The Word Alive is a six-piece post-hardcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. This band is formerly Calling of Syrens. In March 2009, they signed to Fearless Records and released a 6 song EP on July 21st. The Word Alive released their debut full length album on August 31, 2010. Discography: 1. Empire (2009, EP).

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Madison is a New Jersey-based screamo and later more pop punk band. They were active from 2001 until their split in late 2006 after their relationship with their then label Rushmore Records took a turn for the worse. Madison claimed Rushmore neglected them as a band and didn't listen to their repeated requests for them to be sent to the studio to record a full length, demos of new material having already been submitted but apparently ignored by Rushmore.
La Dispute, formed in 2004, is five close friends from Grand Rapids, Michigan with a firm passion for the concept of music and art as a medium for making new friends. As a result, La Dispute makes (or strives to make) music that is both artistically, technically, and emotionally engaging in hopes of establishing legitimate connections with any and all interested people, while encouraging dialogue between those people and themselves about things in life that truly matter and that truly last. La Dispute also carries a firm passion for the relevance of a live show, both for the bands involved and for the people in attendance, and will go to the grave believing that the environment created when strangers come together despite their differences to celebrate one important thing is invaluable and should not under any circumstances be taken for granted.
Their style combines elements of post-hardcore and screamo in a very experimental way to something that can hardly be put into a single genre.

Their first LP,Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair, was released November 11, 2008. The album was recorded at Studiotte in Grand Rapids by Joel and Troy Otte.

The Used is an American band from Orem, Utah. Their sound has been classified under many sub-genres of rock. They signed with Reprise Records in late 2001 and rose to fame in June 2002 after releasing their debut self-titled album, The Used. Soon after a CD/DVD package named "Maybe Memories" was released containing unheard demos and a "behind the scenes" story of the band/band's past. They followed up with their second album, In Love and Death, in September 2004 and their third album, Lies For The Liars, in May 2007.

Underoath (occasionally typeset as underOATH or UNDERØATH) is an American Grammy Award-nominated band originally formed on November 30, 1997 in Ocala, Florida, but since then, have re-located to Tampa, Florida, which was home to some of their newer members. The band's line-up consists entirely of Christian members. They are currently signed with Solid State Records, a subsidiary of Tooth and Nail Records, and are the label's most popular group.
