Blondie

Blondie is perhaps the most commercially successful band to emerge from the 1970s punk scene. They formed in New York in 1974. The original lineup consisted of Clem Burke (drums / percussion), Jimmy Destri (keyboards), Debbie Harry (vocals), Chris Stein (guitar / bass guitar) and Gary Valentine (bass guitar / guitar). Blondie released their first album Blondie in 1976. The album was mildly successful and spawned the Australian hit single "In The Flesh".

Ton!

Stitched Vision

Stitched Vision is Jason Campbell, once global roamer now fringe-dwelling citizen of Newcastle, Australia. His pedal-heavy synthscapes are neither nostalgic nor futuristic, but rather channel the current plight of his city of residence, unfolding as explorations of urban decay and cultural regeneration. Understated melodies sheathed in white noise – pitting the organic against the industrial – mark Campbell’s work and come to symbolise Newcastle’s attempts at rejuvenation beyond its steelworks and coal exporting harbour (the largest in the world).

Sam Sparro

Australian Sam Sparro’s music is the sum of his church choir upbringing, his international cultivation and his penchant for back-alley warehouse parties and clubs. Sam's first album, self-titled, was released in April 2008, as was the single Black & Gold, which was critically acclaimed and performed well in the charts of many countries, reaching number 2 in the UK. As a child, Sam was a low-mileage triple-threat Christian school boy who acted in commercials and plays, sang in church, and danced just about anywhere there was open space.
