There are at least two musical projects named Aftermath: 1 Thrash metal; Chicago based AFTERMATH, fonted by the Greek born Kyriakos "Charlie" Tsiolis, formed in October 1985 when Charlie and his schoolmate Steve Sacco (Guitar) got together. This early incarnation with Adam (Bass) issued their first demo called "Sentenced To Death" in 1986 featuring 'Sentenced to Death', 'Revenge', 'Shotgun' and 'The Aftermath'.

Enter Shikari are a four-piece post-hardcore band from St Albans, Hertfordshire, England formed in 2003. Inspired by hardcore (in both punk-rock and dance genres) they create a sound that cannot be described other than a cross-over of rock and powerful synths. 1) Featherweight is a punk/post hardcore/screamo band from Fort Lauderdale Florida, in the vein of Knapsack, Small Brown Bike, and Jawbreaker. 2) Boston, MA (2009 - 2011).

Kvelertak (meaning stranglehold or chokehold) is a six-piece black metal hardcore punk band from Stavanger, Norway. All lyrics are written in Norwegian, the band's native language, and concerning Norse mythology/Viking folklore. As of today, the six members are: Erlend Hjelvik (vocals), Vidar Landa (guitar), Bjarte Lund Rolland (guitar), Maciek Ofstad (guitar), Marvin Nygaard (bass), and Kjetil Gjermundrød (drums). Known for their consistent, idiosyncratic sound, the band states that their main influences are rock and roll, black metal and punk.
