aheadphonehome is a small collective (sometimes of 1) based in Brisbane Australia. Founded by noise maker/producer Phil Laidlaw in 2006, aheadphonehome draws on eclectic loves of experimental, guitar based, electronica, ambient, DIY, folk, psychadelic and pop traditions to create layed, evolving songs. The debut album "in the static" was released in late 2007.
Fifty Six is Joel Chapen, a solo artist from Los Angeles. His music is nostalgic shoegaze with folk roots, a lush atmospheric pop music with breathy ethereal vocals over down tempo electronic music. Joel’s haunting vocal sound carries the listener into the somber mood of Fifty Six with a dreamy sadness. The songs arrangements carry a feeling of plaintive harmony on the back of his classical acoustic guitars’ muted warmth. There is a profound sense of nostalgia that permeates all of the music of Fifty Six.
Foxglove refers to two artists: [1] - Foxglove is a parisian indie-pop band formed in 2002. A "Train EP", mixing pop and noisy was released in 2005. There are now 5 members in Foxglove, with Fab (bass, guitar, keyboard...) and Lorenzo (drums- he's also Eldia's singer and guitarist) joining Horse, Nick Beat and Clem at the end of 2005. Foxglove are also founders (alongside Underground Railroad) of Ultrasonor, an association that organises gigs in Paris featuring both French and British bands.

Petering out since 2002, and now mostly in their 30s, 'Toxic' as they're affectionately known to their fans have to perform under the additional strain of sore joints, disease and degenerative brain issues. There are multiple artists called Husbands... 1. A collaborative from Arkansas. 2. Not to be confused with "the husbands", husbands are a london DIY drum/synth couple into self reliance, making community, organised resistance, autonomous spaces, and counter-culture art as duty not career. They have been playing since early 2006 around the UK and Europe with UK bands such as the corey orbison, sleeping states, chaps and drunk granny.
As a graduate in sound engineering at prestigious Parisian FEMIS film school, Quentin Lepoutre, aka Myd, offered his strong technical expertise to make his Club Cheval crew – him plus Canblaster, Panteros666 and Sam Tiba – become serious outsiders on the dance music map. A strawberry-blond version of Quincy Jones for the Facebook/Tumblr/post-empire generation, Myd’s a very versatile music-maker, both able to deliver purely functional, club-oriented tracky material, and poppier, regressive house fantaisies.
Kool & The Gang are a highly successful jazz/ R&B/soul/funk/disco group. They originally formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States in 1964, playing jazz. They went through several musical phases in their career. They also played R&B and funk, eventually went through a phase where they were a smooth disco ensemble, and wound up the successful period of their career recording tunes that were a mixture of pop and R&B.
