Bernd Glemser

Bernd Glemser (born 1962, Dürbheim) is a German pianist. A student of Vitaly Margulis, in 1989 he became Germany's youngest piano professor at Saarbrücken's Musikochschule. He has recorded major pieces by Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Schumann, Scriabin, and Tchaikovsky. In 2003 Glemser was decorated with the Bundesverdienstkreuz. His recording of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 was featured in Spider-Man 3 (2007).

The Wreckery

THE WRECKERY are a Melbourne based formed by Hugo Race and Ed Clayton-Jones on their return home from tenure with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds in Europe and the U.S.A. Robin Casinader joined on drums having played with Hugo and Ed in the art punk outfit Plays with Marionettes. Nick Barker and Charles Todd finished the line up on bass and sax respectively. THE WRECKERY were a big hit on the live circuit and had a large and loyal following.

John Thompson

John Thompson is the best known performer of early music for the Chinese silk string zither, the music instrument most favored by Chinese philosophers and aesthetes (in Chinese: qin ["chin"] or guqin ["goo-chin"]). After a college degree in Western musicology (early music) and graduate studies in ethnomusicology, he began in 1974 to study China's silk-string guqin zither as played at present. Since 1976 he has focused on early repertoire, personally reconstructing over 150 melodies published in 15th and 16th century handbooks.

Ross and the Wrongens

Ross and the Wrongens are straight out of kent. Comprising of sam cox - drums tonbridge, billy jupp - guitar/vocals edinbridge, alex barrett - bass/vocal pembury and ross purchase - vocal/guitar/keys gravesend. Brianna Carpenter

Brianna Carpenter remembers her childhood and the times she used to play Barbies whilst listening to Elton John. Ever since then Brianna has been fascinated by song writing and has developed through other musical influences such as Jamie Cullum, Ben Folds Regina Spektor and Bic Runga. Brianna now creates a mix of Folky Alternative Pop. Even though she was born completely deaf in one ear this has not stopped Brianna’s drive to compose. Brianna began song writing at the age of 13 and after writing her first real song "The Web" people started to recognize her talent.

Morganics

Morgan Lewis, better known in the hip-hop world as Morganics, is an MC, Beatboxer, Bboy producer. He is also involved in hip hop theatre and teaching beat-boxing and MC'ing to community centres, jails, schools, theatre companies and remote Aboriginal communities. Known for the hit 'Down River' by the Wilcannia Mob featuring three young Aboriginal boys rapping to a beat-boxing soundtrack, Morganics continues to encourage others to use their own words, terms and language as he does to try to make hip hop our own.
