Grand Salvo is Paddy Mann - a musician from Melbourne who has been performing and recording albums for around a decade. He has produced five albums which have received critical acclaim, one of his albums is titled "Soil Creatures". "Death", released March 15, 2008, through Spunk Records, in association with Preservation, is an 'animal' concept album that focuses on a "bird, a rabbit, a rat, a bear and a man all telling their own tale, coming together to weave a fairytale," and features vocalist Zoe Randell.

Buckinghamsire based singer-songwriter Dave Hamilton-Smith (of Desert City Silence and Plurals) presents a sincere and heartfelt acoustic solo project here. Combining a John Frusciante influenced playing style, Buckley-esque vocals and a jaw-droppingly emotional core, these are songs that can reach into you and take hold of your very soul. Steve Wold, more commonly known as Seasick Steve, is an American bluesman, although he rather would be called "a song and dance man." He plays guitars (mostly personalised), and sings. When asked about his nickname, Steve said: "because it's just true: I always get seasick." He is a 21st Century blues man, who reaches back to the old traditions but also has a punk sensibility, and a gravelly, soulful voice.
Elizabeth Caroline Orton, commonly known as Beth Orton, (born 14th December 1970), is a BRIT Award–winning English singer-songwriter. Perhaps best described as a folk/electronica artist, Beth Orton was born in East Dereham, Norfolk, and moved to East London at the age of fourteen. Orton found success as a musician late, having been more interested in acting during her early career. The Boy Who Trapped The Sun, funnily enough, is not his real name. Colin MacLeod - for it is he- was discovered swinging round the rafters of an Aberdeen bar, dishing out Deep Purple covers and, he says, “generally acting like an arse.” Having smashed his guitar and knocked himself unconscious on stage, he set to cleaning up both the broken instrument and his act. Thus The Boy moved to London; to become a solo artist and an adult. And so emerged a record - due out this summer - full of strange, sometimes sinister stories: equally inspired by home, Hemingway, ghosts and ex-girlfriends.

The Felice Brothers are a folk rock/country rock band from upstate New York founded in 2006. It is comprised of the five main members Ian Felice (lead vocals, guitar, piano), David Turbeville (drums, vocals), James Felice (accordion, piano, organ), and Christmas (bass), previously a traveling dice player. They have been joined by Farley, a washboard player and fiddler, and others who at times had a horn section to the band. The brothers are from the Catskill Mountains of New York. They hail from Palenville, NY, twenty minutes from Woodstock.

Lisa Helen Mitchell was born in England on March the 22nd of 1990, although migrated to New South Wales, Australia at the age of three. She is the eldest of two in a family which resides in the border town of Albury, Australia. Her musical journey began at age twelve when she started taking guitar lessons with a focus on rock and folk. Not long after, she fronted a cover band called Chrome - predominately playing in local cafes.
