HEALTH

There are two bands with the name 'Health': 1. HEALTH is an noise rock band consisting of four members including Benjamin Jared Miller, Jake Duzsik, John Famiglietti, and Jupiter Keyes. All are from different cities including Seattle, San Diego, and their current home base, Los Angeles. HEALTH have released: 'HEALTH' (2007), 'Disco' (2008), 'Get Color' (2009) and '::Disco2' (2010). HEALTH plan to tour continuously doing what they love and do best, make eccentric and original music.

Ides of March

1) Were a Swindon, UK post-punk band active in the late 1980's, releasing two singles on RS Records, both in 1986, a 7" and a 12" respectively. A contemporary magazine, Melody Maker described them as 'The Cure meets The Cult'. Another magazine, Sounds, wrote: '...a cracking rock band in the rugged tense mode of Killing Joke and New Model Army'. 2) Ides of March are a deathcore band hailing from Perth, Australia. Severed Heads

An Australian electronic group formed in Sydney, Australia in 1979, Severed Heads have released albums ranging from <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/experimental" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">experimental</a> <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/industrial%20noise" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">industrial noise</a> to <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/synthpop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">synthpop</a> influenced <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/dance" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">dance</a> music. The original members were Richard Fielding and Andrew Wright, and were soon joined by Tom Ellard. This later changed to Garry Bradbury, Paul Deering, and Tom Ellard; Ellard has been the only one to remain throughout the group's career, with changing lineups throughout its two and a half decades of existence, later working mainly with Stephen Jones.

The Leap Year

The Leap Year are a band from Perth, Western Australia. They formed in 2006 and comprise of Rob Schifferli (Guitar/vocals), Martin Allcock (Guitar/vocals), Paul Haimes (Bass/vocals) and Chris Reimer (Drums). The Leap Year's debut album "With a Little Push, a Pattern Appears" was released on November 5th through Hobbledehoy Records. It was recorded at Bergerk Recording Studios by Al Smith, mixed by Simon Struthers (Adam Said Galore/Mukaizake/Umpire) and mastered by Bob Weston (Shellac/Mission of Burma) at Chicago Mastering Service.

Electric Jellyfish

Electric Jellyfish are a 3-piece collaboration from Melbourne, Australia. The band has extensively toured both Australia and the United States of America since 2007. Their 2008 EP The Woods was recorded entirely analogue by Head Gap studios in Melbourne, Australia, and pressed to cassette by American label Ecstatic Yod. Their 2010 self-titled LP was released in March on Twin Lakes Records.

P.K.14 - Beijing based post-punk band. The abbreviated name P.K.14 is a continuous play on words. Primarily standing for Public Kingdom for Teens (青春公共王国), known to also stand for Pent Kilowatt One More Than Thirteen, Pelikan Kraut Seven Times Two and Psycho Killer Two Less Than Sixteen amongst others... Vocals - Yang Haisong (杨海崧) Guitar - Xu Bo (许波) Drums - Jonathan (坛坛) Bass - Shi Xudong (施旭东)

The xx

The xx are a trio formed in 2005 at London, England. The band members are Romy Madley Croft (vocals, lead guitar), Oliver Sim (vocals, bass guitar), and Jamie Smith (Jamie xx) (beats, MPC sampler). Second guitarist and keyboardist Baria Qureshi is no longer a member of the group. Bonding over a shared love of dark, emotive 80s guitar sounds and the high-end sheen of American R&B, The xx’s unique sound befits a band whose wide range of influences combine beautiful, hushed vocal duets and a brilliantly inventive use of samples and low-end frequencies to produce stark, sweet, melancholic pop.

Pioneers of Good Science

Pioneers of Good Science have been playing together since mid 2007. Their influences are varied, including post-punk, post-rock, instrumental/experimental, 70's punk and new wave bands. They're currently based in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Debut album 'From the forest, they did roam' out now! This was recorded over a long weekend early in 2010 by POGS on their 4-track tape recorder.
