Archie Bronson Outfit

Archie Bronson Outfit (Dorian Hobday on bass/guitar, Sam Windett on vocals and lead guitar and Mark Cleveland on drums) are an English blues-rock band. "The Archies" formed after meeting at Kingswood School in Bath during the early 1990s.
Their second album 'Derdang Derdang' was recorded in Nashville in the summer of 2005 and produced by Jacquire King; it was later released on April 3, 2006. The album received generally excellent reviews, with UNCUT and Mojo awarding it four stars. The London listing magazine Time Out awarded it five.

The Outsiders

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.

Royal Republic

Royal Republic is a Swedish rock band formed in Malmö in late 2007. The band consists of guitarist/lead singer Adam Grahn, guitarist Hannes Irengård, bass guitarist Jonas Almén and drummer Per Andreasson. In late 2008 the band began recording their first album at Beach House Studios in Malmö, Sweden, with producer Anders Hallbäck. The album was completed in 2009 and all songs were mixed at ToyTown Studios by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Europe, Def Leppard, etc.).

The Preachers

To compare Sydney newcomers The Preachers to any musical acts would be unfair. Not that they don’t have their influences (The Band, The Stones, Nick Cave) but their live show is more reminiscent of a religious cult. The howling voodoo high priest Gideon Bensen to the Magdeline-esque passion of Isabella Manfredi the voices in this band stir up a religious fervor which makes you want to drink the kool aid and wait for the spaceship.

The Onyas

Loud, uncomplicated, straight-up, Australian rock and roll. Lyrics about getting drunk and getting laid over top of Chuck Berry riffs. So authentic you can almost smell the pub carpet! Jaws is in The Casanovas, Rich is in a slew of bands including the Ooga Boogas,The Unfuckable and helps run Aarght! Records, John McKeering (Macka) is in the Cosmic Psychos, the Boondall Boys and Ich Bin Ein Esel.

The Horrors

There are at least three bands called The Horrors: 1) An indie rock band from Essex, England.
2) A garage rock/punk band from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
3) An American psychedelic rock band active in the 1960s 1) The Horrors are an indie rock band which formed in 2006 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, United Kingdom. The band consists of Faris Badwan (vocals), Joshua Hayward (guitar), Tom Cowan (Keyboards), Rhys Webb (Bass) and Joseph Spurgeon (drums).

Ty Segall

Burying '60s sing-alongs and dance crazes beneath waves of reverb and giddy thud, Ty Segall has carved out his own shelf in the neo-psych garage alongside SF compatriots and collaborators Sic Alps and Thee Oh Sees. As an exploration of the space between Cro-Magnon fuzz and atmospheric acoustic psych, Ty Segall continues to crank out the best new garage rock from San Francisco. Ty Segall is the lead singer of Epsilons, the drummer for Traditional fools, the drummer every once in a while for Party Fowl, and as of February 2009, an occasional guitarist/drummer for Sic Alps.

Slow Chase

Produced by Jonathan Burnside (Grinspoon, Faith No More, Eskimo Joe, The Sleepy Jackson, The Grates, The Living End, Dan Sultan, Dallas Crane), Slow Chase released their debut three track record The Blind Spot EP in 2012. They formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2010 after a chance meeting between singer Adam Gresty and drummer Emily Shaw at an Elvis tribute night.

The son of Palestinian and Filipino immigrants (and the first American in his family), Hanni El Khatib grew up in San Francisco and was obsessed with classic Americana and pop culture of the 1950s and 60s. Influenced by pioneers of early Rock and R&B, the multi-instrumentalist serves as singer, songwriter & producer for his one-man band (live he is joined by drummer Nicky Fleming-Yaryan) mixing a unique sound of ‘50/’60s blues, soul, garage rock & doo whop. Or in Hanni’s words “these songs were written for anyone who’s ever been shot or hit by a train.
