Sheriff a Canadian rock band and the Swedish duo Sheriff, deconstructing the music we know as rock, just leaving the essentials. There is also an underground Melbourne garage rock trio performing under the name Sheriff. 1) Sheriff was a Canadian rock band in the early 1980s. The band was formed in 1979 in Toronto, and consisted of vocalist <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Freddy+Curci">Freddy Curci</a> , guitarist <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Steve+DeMarchi">Steve DeMarchi</a> , keyboardist Arnold Lanni, bassist Wolf Hassel and drummer Rob Elliott.

Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is a hard rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. Fronted by lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi (born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), the group originally achieved large-scale success in the 1980s. Bon Jovi formed in 1983 with lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassist Alec John Such, and drummer Tico Torres. Other than the departure of Alec John Such in 1994 (which pared the lineup down to a quartet), the lineup has remained the same for the past 27 years.

Royal Republic

Royal Republic is a Swedish rock band formed in Malmö in late 2007. The band consists of guitarist/lead singer Adam Grahn, guitarist Hannes Irengård, bass guitarist Jonas Almén and drummer Per Andreasson. In late 2008 the band began recording their first album at Beach House Studios in Malmö, Sweden, with producer Anders Hallbäck. The album was completed in 2009 and all songs were mixed at ToyTown Studios by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Europe, Def Leppard, etc.).

There is more than one band with this name. 1. Rook were a rock band from Melbourne, Victoria. Formed in 2005 and split up in 2010. They played their last show at the Corner Hotel on 30th of January 2010. “… Melbourne heavy rockers Rook fired up the crowd with tracks from their ’Transitions’ EP. Whilst being a sonically impressive recording, Transitions really comes to life in a live capacity, each track inflating, amplifying and escalating flaunting layers of sound often veiled by the recording process.

CKY (short for "Camp Kill Yourself") is a 4-piece rock band consisting of Deron Miller (vocals, guitar, bass), Chad I Ginsburg (guitar, vocals, bass), Jess Margera (drums), and Matty Janaitis (bass). Deron and Chad both played bass on all 4 of their albums, but Matty will take over when they record their next album, and he has now taken over for their live shows. They share their name with a series of skate videos produced by Bam Margera, who is the brother of the drummer.

They are best known for their first three albums with future Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, then known as "Bruce Bruce", and drummer Thunderstick (real name Barry Graham), who wore a leather mask and performed on stage in a metal cage. Drummer Clive Burr was also member of the band, both before and after his tenure with Iron Maiden. Drummer Mel Gaynor also had a successful music career being a member of Simple Minds for over 20 years.

Paper Champion formed in Sydney in 2007 with founding members Grant Spencer (vocals), Dom Alessio (guitar), Denis Giasli (bass) and Dave Clark (drums). In 2007, Paper Champion released their debut self-titled EP. In 2009, the lineup of the band changed as Dom Alessio and Denis Giasli left to pursue other interests. They were replaced by Michael Tokar (guitar) and George Farrell (bass), and joined by David Nolan (guitar).
