A heavy band that hails from Orland, California. Orland has a few traveler services on I-5 at Highway 32, but not as many as Willows, Williams, or Corning. Nothing People have three records out and few 7 inch singles. But not as many records or singles as Hawkwind, The Buzzcocks or The Scientists.

Witch Hats

Rummaging through the bones of 60s pop, late 70s post-punk, 80s and 90s noise rock, Melbourne four piece Witch Hats are the ideal antidote to a world that celebrates the vacuous pursuits of the celebrity classes, cheap corporate rhetoric and the disposable lifestyle. Think The Birthday Party jamming with Andrew Wk while Mark E. Smith and The Beatles look on knowingly, and you get some idea of the Witch Hats sound.

British India

British India is an alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The band is comprised of Declan Melia (vocals, guitar), Nic Wilson (guitar), Will Drummond (bass) and Matt O'Gorman (drums). The band is notable for their single "Tie Up My Hands", taking the number one spot in the jtv music television programme, with their debut album Guillotine produced by Harry Vanda. Guillotine was also nominated for Triple J's J Award in 2007 and in December of that year British India won the AIR Award for 'Best New Independent Artist'.

The Mess Hall

The Mess Hall are a two-piece rock and roll combo based in Sydney, New South Wales that formed in 2001. Widely respected for their live shows, The Mess Hall have toured Australia extensively both in their own right and supporting bands such as You Am I, Jet and The Strokes. They have also toured the US and Japan, notably with fellow Sydney band, Wolfmother. Outside the driving drums and guitar of The Mess Hall, singer/guitarist Jed Kurzel is an acoustic artist of some note. Drummer Cec Condon is a veteran of the Brisbane music scene.

There are at least three artists with this name: 1) Australian Heavy Metal Band (1981 ~ Present) Taipan are a 3 piece from Melbourne that has helped pioneer Heavy metal in Australia.
Their first e.p Breakout, sold 10,000 copies in Europe and the band has a strong worldwide fan base.They reformed in 2007 to record Stonewitch and have another album Flamethrower that has just been released & will be available on itunes shortly.

Lime Spiders

The Lime Spiders are an Australian band which play a hybrid of garage and psychedelic rock. Lead Singer Mick Blood formed the band in the early '80s with guitarist Gerard Corben, bassist Tony Bambach and drummer Ricky Lawson. The Spiders released their monumental single 'Slave Girl', on the Citadel label, in 1983. In the years to follow, the Spiders issued one amazing single after another: 25th Hour, Out of Control, Weirdo Libido, My Favourite Room, and Volatile. Slave Girl would go on to be one of the best selling independent singles of the 1980s.

Hoss

Hoss is a hard rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. One of a string of 90s hard rock bands on Melbourne's Dog Meat Records that included the Powder Monkeys and Splatterheads, Hoss was primarily a vehicle for the songs of front man, Joel Silbersher. Silbersher also makes solo records, collaborated with guitarist Charlie Owen under the name of Tendrils and tours as a backing musician with acts such as Tex Perkins and the Dirty Three.
