Procession

There are at least four bands with the name Procession: 1) A Chilean doom metal band.
2) A dreampop/shoegaze band originally from Grand Rapids, MI.
3) A disbanded Italian progressive rock band.
4) A disbanded Australian jazz-rock band. 1) Formed in 2006 by Felipe Plaza and Daniel Perez in Chile's cultural heart, the coastal city of Valparaiso, they follow the path of tradition, laid out by the masters BLACK SABBATH, CANDLEMASS and SAINT VITUS without mercy, without compromise.

There are several artists with the name Elder: 1) Elder is 3 piece stoner doom band from Boston. They have a self-titled full-length album released in 2008, a second full-length album titled "Dead Roots Stirring", released 2011, both on MeteorCity records, and a split CD with Hong Kong's Queen Elephantine on Concrete Lo-Fi Records. <a href="http://www.myspace.com/beholdtheelder" rel="nofollow">www.myspace.com/beholdtheelder</a> 2) Elder is a Screamo band from Philadelphia who combine soft/hard and quiet/loud dynamics to build epic Screamo songs. They feature members from <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Towers">Towers</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Balboa">Balboa</a> and have a 10" record and CD out on Forge Again Records.

James Walker

There are two artists with this name: James Walker is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Walker has numerous band appearances to his credit. His current solo project is also his first. James Walker (other names include "Jay-Jay", "Strawberry Blonde Gangster" and "Go away") is also an upcoming and promising solo artist who's track record includes allegedly playing keyboard with led zeppelin and the white stripes. This has never been proved as his image cannot be captured on camera and his existence is still only myth.

Talbot

Talbot is a down-tempo / psychedelic duo highly inspired by doom and experimental genre music from Tallinn, Estonia. Formed in year 2003, but real activity started in August 2008. The mythical and sacred fire-being phoenix lives a thousand years and perishes in flames after building a nest. Few are those who know that the bird leaves behind two eggs - a white one and a black one. From the white a new phoenix hatches, but what might emerge from the black, nobody knows.

Catacombs

There are 2 bands with the name Catacombs: 1. Formed in 2000 by Xathagorra Mlandroth and released only one full album in 2006 - "In the Depths of R'lyeh". Catacombs comes from USA and plays very slow funeral doom metal. Xathagorra Mlandroth plays on all the instruments as well as vocals. Betray the Oracle

Betray The Oracle is a solo Funeral Death Doom project which started in Mount Compass, South Australia. Inspired by bands like Shape of Despair, Mournful Congregation and Evoken.
All instruments and vocals are done by "the philosopher" mixing and mastering of the tracks is done by NapalmDave (the main artist of Within the Torn Apart, and single artist of The Mourning Dimension).
Betray the Oracle has made it's first release through Iron Guardian Industries late 2010.

Wheel

WHEEL was formed in 2006 under the name ETHEREAL SLEEP by Marcus and Arkadius, former members of the Power Metal Band AVANITAS from Dortmund, and Benjamin, former member Dortmund's Thrashers McDEATH. The common goal of the trio was to create old school, heavy, emotional music different from their former bands and so traditional Doom Metal was the only logical consequence. In 2008, after several rehearsals with more or less talented drummers, Cazy joined and guitarist Timo finally completed the line-up for the first time ever.

Church of Misery

Church of Misery is a japanese doom metal band with a specific extra-groovy sound that is often described as "stoner doom" but the band tends to snub this term saying "We hate trend. We hate corporate attitude. We hate the word 'stoner'. Death to false stoners!! Let there be DOOM!!" (citation from the Master of Brutality album cover artwork notes).
Band was formed in 1996 in Tokyo by bassist Tatsu Mikami (ex-Salem) and guitarist Tomohiro Nishimura, line-up was completed with singer Nobukazu Chow and drummer Hideki Shimizu.
