Tha Alkaholiks

Tha Alkaholiks, also known as Tha Liks, are an American hip-hop group from Los Angeles, California. Since the early 1990s they have produced funky, upbeat, hedonism-themed party music with a hardcore hip hop edge, powered by the beats of DJ and producer <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/E-Swift" class="bbcode_artist">E-Swift</a> (born Eric Brooks in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA) and the lively, comedic rhymes of <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/J-Ro" class="bbcode_artist">J-Ro</a> (born James Robinson in Los Angeles) and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Tash" class="bbcode_artist">Tash</a> (born Rico Smith in Cincinnati). Though commercial crossover success largely eluded the group, they maintained a dedicated following on their native West Coast, throughout the United States and worldwide.

The Brotherhood

The Brotherhood were UK Hip Hop's big hitters in the mid-90's. Originally released as founding artists on the Bite It! label they were later signed to Virgin. They released a number of 12" singles, EP's and mini albums, with the main album 'Elementalz' being released by Virgin to critical acclaim, but low levels of sales. They split with Virgin after a turbulent label experience and the death of their manager Marts Androps (who was also the manager of Roger Sanchez).

Aesop Rock

Aesop Rock (born Ian Bavitz on June 5, 1976) is an alternative hip hop artist/producer from Northport, New York, United States. He has released five albums: "Music for Earthworms" (1997), "Float" (1999), "Labor Days" (2001), "Bazooka Tooth" (2003) and "None Shall Pass" (2007). He is also a member of the groups Hail Mary Mallon, The Weathermen and Two of Every Animal.

Das EFX

The duo “Das EFX” emerged in 1991 from the well-established East Coast Hip-Hop scene. The group is composed of Willie “Skoob” Hines and Andre “Krazy Drayz” Weston. With their first album “Dead serious” released in 1992, the group creates a mini-revolution by using an ultra-fast rap associated with funky beats. The album was a commercial success. The following year, Das EFX released their second LP “Straight up Sewaside", “Hold it down” in 1995, and “Generation EFX” in 1998. Their last album was "How We Do" which was released in 2003.

Timbaland

Timothy Zachery Mosley (born March 10, 1971 in Norfolk, Virginia, United States) is a Grammy award winning record producer, rapper and singer whose style of production and arranging was very influential in music during the mid-1990s. With partner Magoo, he is a member of the hip hop group Timbaland & Magoo and is the older brother of rapper Sebastian. He released his debut solo album, Tim's Bio: Life From Da Bassment in 1998, followed by Shock Value in 2007, and its follow up, Shock Value II in 2009. He has produced hit tracks for many artists and has his own record label, Mosley Music Group.

Winnie Coopers

The Winnie Coopers are a five piece hip-hop group from the Gold Coast, Australia consisting of MC's The Educator and Eloquence, Young Tubs on bass and DJ Bigbad. They creat music they describe as "geeky hip hop guaranteed to get cabooses shaking" combining a laid back style with sweet party tunes and lyrics that all nerds can relate to. Bobby Ray Simmons (born November 15, 1988 in Decatur, Georgia), better known by his stage name B.o.B, is a Grammy Award-nominated American rapper, singer and producer signed to <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/T.I." class="bbcode_artist">T.I.</a>'s Grand Hustle Label and Atlantic Records. In 2007 he released his debut EP Eastside, and has since released another EP, 12th Dimension, and five mixtapes. His debut album, B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray, was released in April 2010 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The first single from the album, Nothin' on You featuring <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Bruno+Mars" class="bbcode_artist">Bruno Mars</a>, peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Atmosphere

There are, at least, four artists known as Atmosphere: 1) An American alternative rap band. 2) A Polish rock band. 3) An Italian disco group. 4) A Vietnamese metal band. 1) The Minnesota underground hip-hop group was formed around 1994. At its creation, the group was called "Urban Atmosphere". Unlike many hip hop groups, Atmosphere provides its own live instrumentation, usually consisting of bass guitar and drums.
