Clandestien
Clandestien are a hip hop group hailing from Perth, Western Australia. The group consists of MC's Graphic and Tomohawk, and DJ Mortar. They are part of the Perth hip hop crew Syllabolix, who's artists appear on many tracks. Clandestien are widely known for their raw, abrasive lyrics and beats, and violent often disturbing content; though their songs are often full of political and social messages.

Downsyde
Downsyde are an Australian hip hop group from Perth, Australia that formed in 1996. Downsyde inspiration seems to be derived from a culmination of Middle Eastern, Aboriginal, South American sounds, and samples from obscure animated films. This diversity sits well within their compositions and is also displayed in their latest release "When The Dust Settles". Consisting of 3 MC’s (Optamus, Dazastah, and Dyna Mikes) and 3 live musicians, they have been performed for over 7 years, specialising in conquering the festival audiences of Australia.

Hilltop Hoods
Hilltop Hoods are an Australian a hip hop group, formed in 1991, from Adelaide, South Australia. Their name refers to Hilltop Road In Blackwood, an Adelaide suburb in which they lived as children, and a part of Adelaide known by all the local B-Boys as The Hilltop. One day, another local rapper, Flak from the Cross Bred Mongrels, said that's what they should call themselves, and the name stuck.
The group formed when MCs Suffa and Pressure met at high school. When they later hooked up with DJ Debris through a mutual friend, the trio was complete.
They were inspired by American hip hop artists such as KRS-One, Gang Starr and Pete Rock, who encouraged them to spread this style of music in Australia.
The Hilltop Hoods have released eight successful recordings - Back Once Again (EP - 1997), A Matter of Time (LP - 1999), Left Foot, Right Foot (LP - 2001), The Calling (LP - 2003), The Hard Road (LP - 2006), The Hard Road: Restrung (LP-2007) ,State Of The Art (LP - 2009) and Drinking From The Sun (LP - 2012). The Calling achieved gold status in Australia (35,000+ copies sold), the first hip-hop album to do so. Two tracks (The Nosebleed Section and Dumb Enough) received places in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2003, at 9th and 44th respectively. The Nosebleed Section also came in at number 17 in the Triple J Hottest Hundred Of All Time, making it the highest ranked Australian song on the list, and the only hip-hop track to make the cut. LP The Hard Road also topped the Australian charts, another first for Australian Hip-Hop.
Aside from their own albums, they have featured on a number of highly respected compilation albums, including Obesecity and Culture of Kings Vol. 1 & 2, and have collaborated with most of the main players of the Australian hip hop scene including Koolism, Mass MC, Pegz, Muphin, Layla, Hyjak and Bonez.
They have played many large Australian music festivals, including the Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festivals. They have received nominations for the Best Hip Hop Act in 2001 and 2002 at the 3D World Dance Music Awards, won the APRA award for best up-coming group as well as receiving number one positions in independent charts all around Australia.

Bliss N Eso
Bliss n Eso are an ARIA award winning Australian hip hop group based in Sydney, Australia and were originally known as Bliss n' Esoterikizm. They formed in 2000.
From an early stage in their career, Bliss N Eso primarily built their fan base from their compelling and energetic live performances. An exhilarating blend of fluid rhymes and banging beats teamed with beat boxing, impromptu freestyling and seamless turntablism make their live shows a brand in their own right, and has seen the group hailed as one of the best live acts in the country. After four years of touring with consistently powerful performances, Bliss N Eso settled down in 2004 to record their first full length album Flowers In The Pavement. A virtual brainstorm on record, the emerging artists compiled track after track of wild expression through vibrant lyrics and production. The debut album met an overwhelming response from audiences and critics Australia wide.
In late 2006, Bliss N Eso's second album, Day of the Dog, was released and became the first Australian hip-hop release to debut in ARIA's top 50. It also earned Bliss N Eso an ARIA nomination for Best Urban Release in 2006 with sales exceeding all benchmarks for a local hip-hop release. In 2007 Bliss N Eso travelled to North America, playing sold out shows in the North-West of the US and Canada including a stand out performance at the Whistler 2007 Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival. Upon their return, the lads embarked on the unforgettable Make Poverty History Zero Seven road trip tour and ventured on an epic journey in June 2007 with MTV and the Oaktree Foundation to some of the poorest regions in South Africa to complete the track and shoot the video clip for their next album's first single, Bullet and a Target. 2008 saw Bliss N Eso take things to a whole new level with the release of their third LP, Flying Colours.
The album, which received near perfect reviews in countless media, broke all kinds of records for an Australian hip-hop act thanks to four monster singles in the form of Bullet and a Target, Woodstock 2008, The Sea is Rising and Eye of the Storm. After a top 10 ARIA debut, the album became the highest selling local hiphop album of the year and with their third nomination in as many years, Bliss N Eso took out the ARIA Award for 2008's Best Urban Release. The official album tour sold out every one of its 24 legs including an unforgettable homecoming show at Sydney's Enmore Theatre in front of 2,500 lucky ticket holders. After ten phenomenal years, these three troublemakers from Sydney's suburbs are officially in unchartered territory – which is exactly where they like to be.
Bliss N Eso has just released their latest album called running on air. Debuting at the end of july featuring there latest hit down by the river (link below for their new film clip) . there album is on its way of becoming a great succsess like all their previouse albums.

Jimblah is an Indigenous producer/MC/writer from Adelaide, South Australia, hailing from the Larrakia nation far north. Influenced by a wide range of different Artists and genres, his main passion is hip hop.
