Cro-Mags

The Cro-Mags are a band from New York City formed in 1982. The band, which had a strong cult following, released many records, their first two considered the most influential. They were among the first bands to fuse hardcore punk with thrash metal and were associated with the birth of a tougher attitude within the hardcore scene in the late 1980s. They were also one of the first hardcore punk bands associated with the Hare Krishna movement.

This Is Hell

This is Hell are not going down in history for standing still. Formed on Long Island, New York in June of 2004, This is Hell made an immediate impact on the hardcore scene, and have since shown no signs of slowing down. Travis Reilly (vocals), Rick Jimenez (guitar), Chris Reynolds (guitar), Dan Bourke (drums) and Johnny Moore (bass) all cut their teeth in their local scene, but have now become road veterans with an unquenched desire to pummel stages around the world and live the lives they've built for themselves.

A) A Boston Hardcore band who formed in 2000 featuring members of bands such as the Trouble, In My Eyes, American Nightmare, and the Explosion. They released two EPs for Bridge 9 Records. They had a period of inactivity for a couple of years, until resurfacing in early 2006 to play a few shows on the east coast.

Strike Anywhere

Strike Anywhere is a melodic hardcore/punk band from Richmond, Virginia. They formed in 1999 after the demise of frontman Thomas Barnett's previous band, Inquisition. Their music is characterized by fast tempos, catchy melodies, and socially conscious lyrics. They have released 4 full-length albums and are currently signed to Bridge Nine Records. Strike Anywhere is a political band, with lyrics touching on such issues as police brutality, anarchism, anti-capitalism, women's rights, animal rights, and globalization.

Distant Wreck

In a short two years West Melbourne band Distant Wreck have become an integral part of Melbourne's quickly emerging "new blood". Having joined many of the countries finest bands on stage (Carpathian, Miles Away, Break Even, Hopeless) as well as internationals Shai Hulud and Ruiner; Distant Wreck are now ready to make their presence known as a band who holds their own. Their recently recorded “United Nothings" release is a five track precursor to the bands full length to be recorded in April this year.

Cruel Hand

Cruel Hand is a hardcore band from Portland, Maine drawing influences from the Cro-Mags, early Metallica and Madball. Their debut album, Without a Pulse, was released in 2007 on 6131 Records. They played shows around the U.S. with Trash Talk, The Mongoloids and more, hitting the United States three times and undertaking a full European tour. Next they signed to Bridge 9 Records and in 2008 released the Prying Eyes CD/LP, described on the Bridge 9 web site as “one of the hardest records of 2008, just as full of catchy metallic riffage as it is mosh parts.”

Agent Orange
