They originally covered several songs under the name "Excoriated" and changed their name in early 2005. All of Crowned's discography is up for free download. In February 2005, Auckland-based guitarists Antony Royle and Derek Wu teamed up with South African classical violinist Yvette Van Wyk to form an experimental symphonic metal project called Iraena’s Ashes. Joined in the studio by bassist Kris O’Brien and drummer Robert Bryson, the group recorded two tracks which would signal the beginnings of a new brand of Kiwi Metal.
Later that year, the 5 track ‘Severance’ EP was released by the band now known as ALPINE FAULT.

Mindless was formed in the beginning of 1998 inNijmegen, The Netherlands. Mindless started of under the name Mindless + Support Act, but this was soon after changed to just Mindless to prevent misunderstandings. Their music is a blend of <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/metal" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">metal</a>, <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/nu-metal" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">nu-metal</a>, <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/rock" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">rock</a> topped of with Dutch lyrics.
After some early line-up changes, the current line-up is Tim Engelaar (vocals, guitar), Martijn Ophoff (bass), Sjoerd Zaalberg van Zelst (keys, raps), Tjeerd Alwicher (guitar) and Armand Knibbeler (drums).

Determined to establish themselves as a main stay in the Brisbane metal scene, The Divine Right of Kings promise to deliver an energetic and entertaining live experience that speaks for itself. Driving anthem like choruses collide with melodic riffs and punishing breakdowns to make metal fans both young and old raise their horns as one.
