There are 2 bands named Absu. 1. American esoteric black metal band with a sound informed both by thrash and death metal. Formed in Plano, Texas in 1989, the band's name was originally Dolmen but this was soon changed to Absu, drawing thematic influence from middle-eastern and celtic mythology they recorded four albums and an EP from 1993 to 2001. After the release of Tara in 2001 the band was put on hiatus as guitarist and bassist Equitant Ifernain and Shaftiel departed, citing musical differences and disinterest in the band, respectively.

There are multiple artists known as Desecrator: 1. Desecrator is grindcore genre inspired four-piece band from Paris, France formed in year 1993. During this time they have toured around, recorded and released at least five various length albums - latest of them split with band Agathocles in year 2007. 2. Desecrator was an early death metal band from the UK. They formed in 1989, recorded a promo in 1990, and released their only full length 'Subconscious Release' in 1991, then disappeared.

Producing and releasing under the name Killjoy (sometimes written kill//joy) since 2002, he has toured in many different countries and released material on major breakcore labels such as Kamikaze Club (Fr), Murder Channel (Jpn) and BRK (Fr). With over 35 gigs under their belt, and supporting some of Australias best metal acts, including Psycroptic, Alarum, Terrorust, Captain Cleanoff, Switchblade, Double Dragon, and Pathogen. Imminent Psychosis have toured interstate and are planning another in the very near future (watch out fuckers...)
