Bulletbelt are not just a band - they are a force of nature. Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, they burst onto the scene in 2009 with a bang. Their 2012 debut album, Down in the Cold of the Grave, was a grim, ferocious start to their career.

In 2014, they unleashed the follow up album, Rise of the Banshee, with new lineup and a bigger emphasis on hooks and melody. The album featured the song, Deathgasm, which was the theme song to the cult classic horror/comedy movie of the same name which premiered at the legendary South By Southwest Festival. They also toured Australia for the first time supporting US Thrashers Toxic Holocaust.
