Wax Mustang is a force to be reckoned with, either in your headphones, or on any stage you find him. Mustang’s music somehow finds a balance between throwback hip-hop and 80’s rock. We’re not sure how he does it, but I guess that adds to the enigma that is… Wax Mustang.

Wax is turning heads around the country, including Red Bull Studios, where he recorded ‘Monica’, ‘Bones’, and ‘Powerball’. Summer of 2019/20 saw him play at a broad span of NZ festivals, everything from Nest Fest and 121 Festival, to Bay Dreams and Rhythm and Vines. Wax was also on the bill for Six60’s massive Western Springs stadium show, where he played to an audience of 30,000+.
