Wild Flag

There are two bands named WILD FLAG: an American indie rock quartet, and a Japanese hard rock band. 1. WILD FLAG is a Portland, OR and Washington DC based quartet consisting of Carrie Brownstein, Mary Timony, Rebecca Cole, and Janet Weiss. The members of WILD FLAG have played in numerous and notable bands, including but not limited to: Helium, The Minders, Croissant Cocktail, Feeble Knees, Quasi, Dogz, Sleater-Kinney, @@@, The Consortium, Asia, and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. WILD FLAG released their eponymous debut album on September 13, 2011 via Merge Records.

Kurt Vile & the Violators

Kurt Vile & the Violators are a rock band from Philadelphia PA, United States. The band draws influences from lo-fi, psychedelic and classic rock. Founded by frontman Kurt Vile (guitar, vocals), the band currently consists of Jesse Turbo (guitar, slide), Mike Zeng (percussion) and Adam Granduciel (guitar, bass). Kurt and Adam have played music together ever since the early 00's with each one contributing to the other's projects, most notably in The War on Drugs which is fronted by Granducial.

Kasabian

Kasabian are an alternative rock band from Leicester, England, United Kingdom. The band consists of Tom Meighan (vocals), Sergio Pizzorno (guitar, synths, vocals), Christopher Edwards (bass), Ian Matthews (drums) and touring guitarist Jason Mehler. The band has been compared with the likes of Primal Scream, with their similar electronica-indie rock fusion and Oasis, with whom they share their confidence, vision, swagger and rough vocal style.

The Vagrant City Scandal

The Vagrant City Scandal burst onto the music scene in early 2007, with a rock n roll energy, the likes of which has rarely been seen. With the release of their debut E.P. ‘Dirty Town’ came dingy pub shows, acclaimed live reviews and the experience to combine a command of the stage with an honest representation of their infectious sound.

Young Heretics

Young Heretics are the brainchild of Melbourne based duo, Kitty Hart and Matthew Wright - eccentric twins, both with a love of warped pop music and sonic invention. The dual vocal attack incorporates theatrical soundscapes, driving beats and a massive selection of other instruments to create a dynamic and inventive sound unlike any Australian music created before it. After leaving the hugely successful band "The Getaway Plan for the project, Matthew stated Kitty was his favourite lyricist of all time - the musical chemistry between the two is evident throughout every aspect of their sound...

Jamaica

Jamaica, formerly known as Poney Poney is Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet. These guys are dropping new tracks with Justice's Xavier de Rosnay and Daft Punk sound Engineer Peter Franco on the production. Their first single was "I Think I Like U 2". The second song they released was "Short and Entertaining", which was featured on the 9th installment of the Kitsuné Maison Compilation series. Xiu Xiu

Xiu Xiu is an experimental band originally from San Jose, California and currently based in Durham, NC and Brooklyn. The band is named after the main character of the 1998 Chinese film "Tian yu" (a.k.a. "Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl") Xiu Xiu was first formed in 2000 and is the main project of singer-songwriter Jamie Stewart, who records with friends on his home computer. Stewart's cousin, Caralee McElroy joined the band in 2003 and was the only other permanent member of the band until her departure in early 2009.

Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes is an indie folk band which formed in Seattle, Washington, United States in 2006. The band consists of Robin Pecknold (vocals, guitar), Skyler Skjelset (guitar), Christian Wargo (bass, guitar, vocals), Casey Wescott (keyboards, vocals), Morgan Henderson (multiple instruments) and J. Tillman (drums, vocals). They are signed to the labels Sub Pop and Bella Union. Fleet Foxes released the six-track Fleet Foxes EP in 2006, a five-track EP, Sun Giant on April 8, 2008, and their debut full-length self-titled album, Fleet Foxes on June 3, 2008.
