The Violet Flames are a 3-piece indie/rock act based in Melbourne, originally hailing from Perth, Western Australia. 2008 was a huge year for the band which saw them support Bon Jovi at Subiaco Oval in front of 28,000 people after winning a listener-voted radio competition, and receive high rotation radio-play on Perth’s 96FM with their debut single ‘Come On’. After witnessing the band live in Perth, Melbourne booking agency Saltar Hype Entertainment quickly offered to get them over to the east to tour.
