Melbourne's Sabrina and the Red Vans inject some well needed soul and groove into the hard worn genre of rock 'n' roll. Dirty guitar solos and driving drum and bass compliment commanding vocal harmonies, creating a dramatic push and pull effect that forms the essence of the band. Already lead vocalist Sabrina Sandapa has found fans internationally, earning a nomination for best female vocal at the Los Angeles Music Awards(2007), as well as 1st place in the Folk/Acoustic sector of the Australian Songwriting Contest (2009) and winner of the 2007 Coke a Cola live and local unsigned competition.
