a recent trio formation comprising members from 4 cities across Brazil & Australia - Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo, Brisbane & Melbourne. At it’s core the ‘arrumadinho’ is a trio (+ VA guests including violin/rabeca, cavaquinho, or sete cordas), and lead by dynamic and energetic front man/singer/trianguleiro LeoRio (Melbourne Forró Marathon Director, seasoned forró dance instructor, and leader of Melbourne’s Brazilian forró dance community ‘ForrOz Melbourne’ originally from Rio), with sanfoneiro (Brazilian Accordionist) - Ricardo Bona (São Paulo/Brisbane), & zabumbeiro/percussionist Paprika (Brisbane). They come together and blend, celebrating the roots styles (old & new) within forró pé de serra - taking inspiration from groups such as Trio Forrozão, Trio Bastião, Trio Dona Zefa, Trio Nordestino, Os 3 do Nordeste, Ary Lobo, Jackson do Pandeiro, Dominguinhos, Oswaldinho do Acordeon & Luiz Gonzaga, (picanha do forró!).
