House of Pain

House of Pain was an Irish-styled American hip-hop group who released three albums in the early to mid 90's before lead rapper Everlast decided to pursue his solo career again. The group is best known for its 1992 hit single Jump Around. The band's history starts with a failed short solo career, Everlast teamed up with DJ Lethal and high school friend Danny Boy to form House of Pain. The group was signed to Tommy Boy Records, and their self-titled debut album (1992) went multi-platinum, spawning the successful DJ Muggs produced single Jump Around.

Mix Master Mike

Mix Master Mike (born April 4, 1970 [1]) is an American turntablist of Jewish and Filipino extraction. His real name is Michael Schwartz. He was born in Daly City, California. He first gained notoriety after performing at several live DJ competitions. Mix Master Mike later joined the ground-breaking turntablist group, Invisibl Skratch Piklz. After gaining fame, he hooked up with the Beastie Boys, working on the album Hello Nasty. He is now considered their resident DJ, replacing DJ Hurricane (who was preceded by Doctor Dre - not to be confused with Dr. Dre !).

12th Planet

Born in Los Angeles in 1982, John Dadzie aka Infiltrata aka 12th Planet prescribes a transatlantic flavour to Med School. Growing up in the south of the city, John’s musical apprenticeship began in his high school days by playing in bands and regularly attending raves and jungle parties. The turning point came when he formed Imperial Recordings with DJ Lith, a stepping stone for John to excel in a field of production and management.

Raekwon

Raekwon (the Chef), one of the nine talented Wu-Tang Clan members, shines as the purist of lyricists. When the time came for him to release his first solo album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... (1995), hip-hop, once again, underwent a momentous transformation. To give an accurate analogy Cuban Linx is to albums what Scarface is to movies. In fact, this classic album, which went gold in three days moves from track to track like a film moves from scene to scene.

Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California), better known by his stage name Game (formerly The Game), is an American gangsta rapper. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released two more critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX, which he claimed to be the final album he would release, but in mid-2009 he started recording The R.E.D. Album, which has been released on the 23rd of August this year(2011).

DJ Yoda

DJ Yoda (born Duncan Beiny) is a British hip-hop turntablist. Between 1995 and 1998 he studied English and American Literature at the University of Warwick. During this period he began performing at Mojo, a popular Warwick Hip hop and Soul night until he graduated. After he left university he began releasing underground demo mix-tapes to small music shops. Through the popularity of these tapes, Antidote Records asked him to create an official mixtape, from which 'How to Cut & Paste Mix Tape Vol.1' was released.

Brad Strut

Brad Strut is an MC from Melbourne, Australia. He made his name through radio appearances in the early 90s and appeared on early releases from Bias B, Trem and Boney Stoney (Bias B and Brothers Stoney). His debut album "The Authentic" was released in 2001, after which he went on to form the Lyrical Commission with Trem and Bob Balans. LC released their debut "The Stage is Set" in 2002 and followed it up with the "Murderous Metaphors" EP in 2004.

Ciara Princess Harris (born October 25, 1985), who performs under the mononym Ciara, is a Grammy-Award winning, American singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, fashion model, music video director, actress and soon to be a fashion designer. Born in Austin, Texas, United States, Ciara made her debut in the summer of 2004 with the Billboard number-one single "Goodies". The album Goodies was released in the United States on September 28, 2004, and in the UK on January 24, 2005. It produced three number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, selling three million in U.

dead prez is a hip-hop duo from the United States, composed of stic.man and M-1, and formed in 1996 in New York. They are known for their sometimes confrontational style, combined with socialist lyrics focused on both militant social justice, and also positivity. The duo maintains an ethical stance against corporate control over the media, especially hip-hop record labels.

Drapht

Drapht is a solo hip-hop MC from Perth, Western Australia. He released Pale Rider in 2003 and it was warmly received in Perth's relatively small hip-hop scene. In 2005, he released Who Am I? which was also well received by fans and critics. He is affiliated with SBX crew, AYEMS crew and has collaborated with Downsyde, Pressure of Hilltop Hoods, and Perth artist Layla.
