Artist Type:

Thomas Schumacher

There are two artists with this name. 1. From the first time he heard a DJ beat-mix acid house in 1987, Thomas Schumacher immediately knew that he wanted to be a part of dance music culture. With a strong foundation in Detroit techno and House, Thomas has been an active - and eclectic - producer and DJ for over 15 years, and is one of the leading players on the international DJ circuit. His international breakthough came on legendary techno label Bush Records in 1998 with the track “When I Rock”;...

Brodinski

Brodinski, 1 has his right hand on the hardened minimalist edge and his left hand on the electro party scene. He's part of the fluokids phenomenon. His sets are clean but the tracks are dirty, and the "mix tapes" he offers on his blog never fail to disappoint.
Baby Djs are awake since 2006, be careful Brodinski may be the bad boy of this blogaddicted gang !
Coming from Reims, he started music at 15 and just never stopped hitting the dancefloor harder and harder...

Artist Type:

Fangs

The 3 members of Fangs first met whilst breakdancing ironically in the basement of a club that they heard Ian Curtis had once had a pint in. After complimenting each other on their use of eyeshadow, the two male members both attempted to seduce their future lead singer by performing 'the worm'. Once they had been helped off the floor, they conversed in halting tones (reminiscent of that employed by Deborah Harry of Blondie in hit song 'Atomic').

Artist Type:

The Subs

Rambunctious. That's the least you can say about Belgian beatbastards The Subs. Having already released a couple of underground dance maxis - 'You Make Me Spill', 'Fuck That Shit', 'Substracktion' - over the past years, they hit it hard in 2008, with 'Kiss My Trance', a punktrance-juggernaut of a hitsingle.
The track started off as a joke, the band wanted to see how far they could push the limits of the trance-genre and get away with it.

Artist Type:

Adam Bartas

There are people who play records and then there are DJs like Adam Bartas. This 23-year-old knows that Djing isnt just about playing the right records at the right time, its about the emotion and the passion that accompanies them and conveying it to the dancefloor. Its a theory Bartas has had plenty of chances to test out of late, as he continues his rapid rise up Melbournes DJing ranks to become one of the citys most in-demand house jocks.
