SK123 is a UK-based ambient, electronica and techno artist who began his musical career in the summer of 2000. Taking inspiration from releases on Ninja Tune, Rephlex and Warp records, SK123 released a large number of experimental EPs and short albums between 2002 and 2005. The following year he was able to produce two full-length albums (River Monkey and Zeolites) and two EPs, and in 2007 he released Soundwave to an appreciative online fanbase.
The Orb (sometimes credited as simply Orb) is a British electronic music band known for pioneering the genre of ambient house. The Orb is heavily influenced by dub music, and much of their later output has been in the electronic dub category, more so than ambient house. The group was formed in 1988 by Dr. Alex Paterson (full name Duncan Robert Alex Paterson) and Jimmy Cauty (one half of The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu and later The KLF). The Orb's first release was the acid house anthem "Tripping on Sunshine".

As inventor and player of The Magic Pipe, That 1 Guy’s show has to be seen to be believed, as he single-handedly (and foot-edly) plays his amazing instrument, made out of miked steel pipes with a single, thick bass string wired from top to bottom, not to mention an Appalachian handsaw, an electric cowboy boot and belching smoke.
After coming off the road in mid-2005, following months of touring in support of their Triple Crown debut, Lafcadio, from Long Island, New York, United States the band As Tall As Lions – vocalist/guitarist Daniel Nigro, guitarist Saen Fitzgerald, bassist Julio Tavarez and drummer Cliff Sarcona – spent more than half a year channeling their energies into crafting an album that would not only realize the lofty ambitions of these four young men but define them as a band, once and for all.
Lawrence English is media artist, composer and curator based in Australia. From the salty tear-infected circuit boards of Cleveland, Ohio, comes 'Radio People', Sam Goldberg's synthwave commission for the ever-excellent Digitalis imprint. For the latter half of the '00s he's been a part of the same underground noise scene as Emeralds, running his Pizza Night cassette imprint and releasing a handful of rare tapes on Gneiss Things, Wagon and Weird Forest, among others. Radio People is a relatively recent handle he's been using for a trio of now out-of-print cassettes on Pizza Night, and this is the first vinyl product of that chemically imbalanced sound.
