Salmonella Dub began in New Zealand in the summer ending 1992 when Andrew, Dave and Mark applied reggae rhythms and bowel stirring basstones to a handful of bad taste covers. Salmonella Dub's first show was a mixture of covers from Fred Dagg to Nancy and Lee plus some original material in the Westport Racetrack tearooms with EST on January 13th 1993. Over the course of 1993 the band with the aid of Ice Mac and his soundsystem worked the Dux de Lux and Steel Magnolia bars with percussionists Marcus Puentener and Craig Allen.
Not to be confused with Various Artists. Various was the original moniker of the English dubstep/electronic duo formed in 2003, more commonly known as Various Production. Their debut album, The World Is Gone was released under this name.
DJ /rupture AKA of Jace Clayton, a New York-based DJ and producer. He used to play in the drum and bass collective Toneburst, and DJ'ed in Boston during the late 1990s. His standard set-up involves three turntables, on which he creates complicated mixes—such as one with a cappella vocals, the second with breakbeats, and the third with ambient effects. Ikonika (real name Sara Abdel-Hamid) is a UK-based electronic musician, producer and DJ often associated with Hyperdub Records and the Dubstep genre. Her debut 12", "Please/Simulacrum" was released in 2008 on Hyperdub Records. She has released music on Planet Mu, as well as a remix of DJ Mujava’s "Township Funk", released by Warp Records. Ikonika’s music combines melodic synth patterns, driving drums, melancholic sub bass and unorthodox song structures.

Katchafire is a reggae band from Hamilton, New Zealand. They present an infusion of the roots reggae lineage with an undeniably Maori sound. Don Letts’ came to notoriety in the late '70s DJing reggae music to punk crowds at 'The Roxy' club in London. He also started to document the punk rock movement in 'The Punk Rock Movie'. He continued to make documentaries across the spectrum of credible music including a celebrated film about Bob Marley. Musically, he was a founder member of Basement 5 and Big Audio Dynamite,the latter with The Clash's Mick Jones, managed the all woman punk group The Slits and collaborated with many post-punk outfits in the 1980s.
