Plump DJs (Lee Rous and Andy Gardner) are a DJ and producer team in electronic dance music. Early pioneers of the breakbeat genre in electronic music, the Plump DJs have diversified in recent years to incorporate new styles such as electro, house and bass music. Their sound is still widely thought to maintain a breakbeat aesthetic, but their productions and DJ sets have become stylistically broader. Throughout the 2000s, they released a string of singles and remixes of well-known dance music names such as Fatboy Slim, Orbital, Deadmau5 and the Stanton Warriors.

Benji Boko is a super-fly, street-smart music producer, DJ, performer. Benji has been described as the “Beat-maker Wonder-Kid” from the reviews of his DJ sets and recent releases. Recently signed to Nightmares On Wax new label, Wax On Records, Benji is currently producing an album, to be released in 2008. These days, there aren’t too many DJs whose passion for the music they play is made so visible when they speak of their craft. How refreshing it is then to see someone like J-Slyde putting in his all – and then some – into every aspect of his obsession. Brought up on music from an early age, the late 90’s saw the young man embrace the sounds of electronica, and over the years such an embrace has conjured up quite a list of influences. His musical tastes are quite broad, dabbling in all kinds of genres and surrounding himself with as much melodies of supreme quality as possible.
