Makoto

There are at least two artist with name Makoto: 1. Based in Tokyo, Makoto Shimizu, better known as simply Makoto, is Japan's chief Drum & Bass ambassador. After completing an Acoustic Engineering major at Nippon University, Makoto first signed with LTJ Bukem's legendary Good Looking Records back in 1999.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength, releasing a long string of quality music in the form of singles and EP's, but also on the famous 'Earth' and 'Progression Sessions' compilation albums.

Aeph

Simone Vallecorsa aka Aeph was introduced to Bass music when he was a teenager back in his hometown. At the age of 16, inspired by different music genres, Simone was compelled to make his own music. Now Aeph lives and works out of London and has released on a number of most cutting edge record labels.
The "Aeph" sound is a dark melodic mixture of classic composition and surrealistic synthesizers, a retro futuristic vision of music combined with ultra modern riffs, great versatility and a finesse that rivals his role models.

Phetsta

Whetu Kay aka Phetsta was introduced to the D & B sound during his final year of High School in 2000 after relocating from New Zealand to Perth, Australia. Tracks such as Ed Rush & Optical's "Locuste", BC's "Inside the Machine" and Konflict's releases on RenegadeHardware instantly appealed to him. The following year he started producing his own tracks and never looked back. After writing solo and DJ'ing around Perth, he joined forces with Ross Deschamp aka Rregula (former guitarist of WAMI Award winning band "The Dirty Whittler") to form Bad Robot in 2004.

London Elektricity (aka Tony Colman) has become a byword for groundbreaking 'fast soul music', ramming venues, destroying drum & bass crowds, leaving huge smiles from the Big Chill to Glastonbury and beyond, London Elektricity Live has always been 'out of this world'. The LE saga began way back in '96, and up until 2002 LE was a double-act. Tony Colman and Chris Goss made their mark in 98 with the epic Song In The Key Of Knife, and subsequent critically acclaimed debut album Pull The Plug. In 2002 Tony took on the project solo, as Chris concentrated on taking the NHS empire to the next level.

DBridge

When you meet him in daylight D-Bridge is a laidback and calm fellow. But at night he turns out to be the producer of the grittiest and grimiest tunes in drum 'n' bass. Based in London, D-Bridge has literally helped to give birth to to the scene with a couple of seminal jungle classics. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia the crew consists of Knick, Gigantor and The Enemy. Apart from being a production outfit, Evol Intent also owns and operates their own label, which functions as an outlet for their own work as well as like-minded artists. After building an underground following with their first 3 releases, Evol Intent signed a deal with Alpha Magic to handle their distribution for Evol Intent Recordings.

Shy FX

Shy FX is the pseudonym of Andre Williams (born 1977), an English drum and bass musician from London. He is best known for one of his earliest singles, 1994's "Original Nuttah", with UK Apache. Throughout his career he has worked closely with T-Power, both as "Ebony Dubsters" and "Shy-FX and T-Power"; their 2002 track "Shake Your Body" with vocalist Di was a crossover success, appearing in the Top 40 UK Singles Chart. "Shake your Body" had great success through out Europe. In 2005 he founded Digital Soundboy Recordings.

Break
