Andy C

Andy C, real name Andrew Clarke, is a British DJ and producer and co-founder of record label RAM Records. A pioneering Drum and Bass DJ since the genre's emergence in the early '90s, he has consistently been voted World's Greatest Drum and Bass DJ. He specialises in fast mixing, often employing three turntables, and is known for mixing established classics with cutting edge releases. Andy C's record label RAM Records was started with Ant Miles in 1992 and is based in Hornchurch, Essex, United Kingdom.

Camo & Krooked

When “one of the biggest talents in Drum’n’Bass” (according to Grooverider), Vienna based Reinhard Rietsch aka CAMO and up- and coming producer Markus Wagner aka KROOKED, who both started producing in 2002, teamed up in 2007 nobody could have guessed what impact their collaboration will have on the scene!

D-Bridge AKA Darren White's first introduction into the music scene was in 1992, when he formed 'Sewage Monsters' with his older brother (signed to MCA and Island Records as 'Steve Spacek'). After releasing one 12" on their own label, they disbanded; and Darren went on to work with 'Armshouse Crew' of 'We Are E' fame... this was to last for a further two years. In 1995 Darren met Jason Maldini through a mutual friend and was soon to be working alongside him at Trouble On Vinyl.

High Contrast

As a winner of the Essential Mix of the Year 2007 on BBC's Radio 1, the name High Contrast needs no introduction, although when a young Lincoln Barrett signed on the dotted line back in 2000 he was a complete unknown. Sub Focus

Nick Douwma a.k.a. Sub Focus came to the DnB scene from Guildford, UK in 2003, and broke through with a number of tracks in his first year including "Acid Test", and "X-Ray". Entirely self taught, he was noticed at first by Andy C and, in a matter of months, went from being one of many wannabe producers to becoming a permanent fixture of the award winning RAM Records family. Recent releases on Ram Records include tunes such as "Airplane", "Flamenco", "Juno" and "Swamp Thing".

LTJ Bukem

In the mid eighties, at the age of seventeen, Bukem discovered the joys of clubbing. The teenager regularly checked out the local soul clubs and legendary rare groove all dayers. During this time he also ran a jazz funk band. DJing however, was his main thing and by 1987 he gained something of a reputation for his sets. Dillinja, (also known as Capone, Cybotron, D-Type and Original Master), (real name Karl Francis) is a jungle and drum and bass DJ and producer from Brixton in South London. Arguably the most prolific producer on the scene, he set up Valve Recordings in partnership with long-term collaborator Lemon D, with whom he also designed and built the Valve Sound System, purported to be the most bass-heavy system in the world (contrary to rumour it is not the loudest). It is the only sound system designed and built for playing drum and bass.

DBridge
