SIX60

Bonding over a shared love of NZ music and passion for making their own, Six60 formed after meeting at a Kora concert in 2006. Three members flatted together as Otago Uni students, spending countless hours in their recording studio (Eli's room) at number 660 on notorious Castle St.

Luluc

Melbourne folk duo Luluc (pronounced Lou-Luke) might be a new name to many but they come packing an impeccable resume. Singer Zoe Randell is perhaps best known for her magical vocal accompaniment to Paddy Mann in the much loved Grand Salvo, while Steve "Harmony" Hassett is the bass player in mythical alt-indie-country dudes Wagons. The duo are about to release their debut Dear Hamlyn in a couple of weeks. Fans of Gillian Welch, Iron and Wine, M Ward, Bon Iver et al take note.The duo also had some help on the record from ex-Sodastream double-bassist Pete Cohen.

Matt Joe Gow grew up in Dunedin, New Zealand. A town on the south east coast famous for its independent music scene. Dunedin is sited on land which gives visual evidence of the natural forces and ravaging elements which formed and shaped it. Land and the elements, a common theme in country music and a firm platform for Joe Gow's heartfelt lyrical approach. He began piano lessons at an early age and continued through to his teens where piano gave way to guitar.

Antagonist is back with a new album and new name: Antagonist A.D. ElevenfiftySeven is proud to be releasing the new full length album We Are The Dead on the 6th of October in both New Zealand and Australia via Melbourne label Trial & Error. Antagonist A.D formed in late 2004 but after trading members & gaining direction a new redux saw the light in 2005. 2005 was a dark year for New Zealand hardcore with prominent bands breaking up, crucial venues being lost & key promoters bowing out.
