Its okay not to be okay, a theme that The Beautiful Monument has carried through their debut and sophomore albums and that seems more poignant now than ever before

Full of energy & fun, smashed every song & lovely guys too.
Cant wait til the next gig!!

Royale With Cheese are hands down the best tribute show we've had at our venue in the 18 months I've been here. They're extremely well rehearsed, work the crowd really well and have a solid portfolio of songs which the vocalist nailed! Needless to say, my team and I were very impressed by the group.

That was amazing. Best, most consistently good 90s cover band I've seen. RATM are not a lightweight band to cover. Mighty guitar sounds last night guys, and holy snapping duck shit, how do you jump all over the stage, sweat your balls off and then back that up with a whole album of Zack lyrics without missing a beat?! Damn.

Best 90's tribute band ever!!!
Amazing vocals, you guys are the best!!! Fantastic stage presence, you know how to get the crowd jumping thanks for the rocktastic night

Even in a poor venue, with the dodgiest air conditioning in Australia.....you guys rocked! The room was a buzz and the show was amazing!! Thank you!!

Seen these guys at the Narrabeen Sands twice now, brutally excellent both times. If you grew up in the 90's get your ass down to one of their gigs and DESTROY THE DANCEFLOOR!!!

Had a great night at O'Donoghues in Emu Plains listening to this band. Great entertainers.

Great night at The Bull and Bush last night guys, you guys Rock, always enjoy seeing you

Saw this band for the first time at Gymea pub tonight-was blown away by their fantastic songs-will definitely follow them to other gigs!

Absolutely amazing Canberra gig, guys. Every song was truly incredible - I didn't expect anything like that - thanks, come back to Canberra-town soon! You're all very talented.

I was blown away. All my favorite songs coming out of the same band, sounding on point... amazeballs. I have not had that much fun in Canberra, ever! Thank you!!

Awesome set tonight guys to pay tribute to the one and only Chris Cornell. Great selection of tunes that not only captured Soundgarden but also the 90s in general! Can't wait to catch the next gig!

The 90s are the best and you guys make them better!

You guys rocked the Sands hotel last night (by far the best cover band I have ever seen). Hope you make it back to the beaches soon

Just saw Royale with Cheese at Towradgi Beach Hotel. What a stellar performance. You can't help but dance to their music. I was impressed by the vocals, the fun atmosphere the guys created and the professionalism in which they conducted themselves....Better than a french quarter pounder. :)

Hey guys, thank you so so much for stepping out of the norm and completely rocking our wedding reception.
We had such a great night, it was everything we dreamed of, and that is in no small part due to the role you played.
Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how epic our band was, and we completely agree!
If anyone is ever tossing up whether to hire a band for their wedding I’ll be the first to say “DO IT!! And hire ROYALE WITH CHEESE MUTHAFUCKER!!”

These New South Whales

Australian punk icons These New South Whales hit the road for one final headline east coast run in 2023, bringing one of the country’s best-loved pub rock acts Drunk Mums and local enfant terribles Spunk and Itchy and the Nits along for the ride, before making an eagerly awaited return to Europe alongside critical punk agitators, Civic.

Following a massive sold-out national tour in support of their breakthrough third record, TNSW, the Melbourne punk auteurs return to the stage fresh from an all-time cover of Chumbawama’s ‘Tubthumping’ for triple j’s Like A Version and a scene-stealing performance at Yours & Owls Festival.

Debuting at #9 on the ARIA Australian album charts, TNSW’s self-titled third record furthers the band’s evolution from compelling Aussie basement punk into a more sprawling, international space, tying together influences from early ’90s alternative with their punk and hardcore roots. The set of songs finds the quartet leveling up immeasurably, receiving support across The FADER, DIY, NME, The Line of Best Fit, and MOJO, the latter of whom wrote in their review of the record that "it's not even funny how comprehensively they kick the ass of most other contemporary punk-leaning ensembles."

Their hit Comedy Central show – touted as “the punk Flight of the Conchords” (NME) and “the best mockumentary since Spinal Tap” (Monster Children) – saw them become the first Australian band to develop their own TV series and license it to a cable television network. And their podcast What A Great Punk ended its debut year inside Spotify’s top five music podcasts before going on to do a sold-out live run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2022. While their reputation as all-round entertainers grows, though, their music has long outgrown the comedy label that defined their formative years.

Now “premier punk outfit” isn’t just the cocky phrase the band uses to describe themselves in their mockumentary – it’s a real-life statement of fact.

Hank's Jalopy Dreams

So many great rockabilly bands have sprouted up over the globe since the style first took root in the ’50s. Hank’s Jalopy Demons are proud to be a part of such a tornado of musical wildness and take their inspiration from the countless masters of this genre over the past 60 years. In fact, what may make Hank’s Jalopy Demons a hip band is their total immersion in this music, as well as their energetic enthusiasm for playing rockabilly the best they can – trying to emulate the best, while creating their own unique authentic interpretation.

On this exciting musical journey, Hank’s Jalopy Demons started out by doing the hard yards of the musicians’ ordeal – playing in rough dingy bars on the wrong side of the tracks (in fact, they still do). From there, the small, increasingly loyal, audience grew. From those early hard days, they added inspired new original numbers to their repertoire and formed a tight musical outfit that had people really rockin’ with their frighteningly authentic and wild renditions of rockabilly.

Of course, a band is more than just the sum of its members – the quality of a band in a non-linear equation. This dynamic output is the result of the input of the following vigorous personalities.

First, there’s Andrew Lindsay on drums. He has extensive experience in the hippest of hipness. Many will be familiar with Benny and the Fly-by-niters in which he provided the rhythm, as well as the respected western-swing/hillbilly-bop outfit the Starliners. Secondly, there’s Dave Cantrell on the lead guitar and vocals, who’s been playing and recording rockabilly since a school-boy, still wet behind the ears. He played in such renowned Melbourne bands as the Roadsters and Stringbusters, plus the Starliners too. Next, there’s Til Vex on bull fiddle. He’s been honing his skills for many moons in Melbourne rockabilly bands, such as the Straight 8s and the Roadsters. You may be familiar with all of the of bands mentioned above from the infamous and acclaimed Preston Records label. In addition, Andrew, Dave and Til backed both Scotty Baker and Kieron McDonald, among others, on their excellent recordings. Lastly, Hank Ferguson, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and composer, is known for his singing with the Starliners, as well as other Preston Records releases dating back over two decades. He’s been playing this music since he was knee high to a grasshopper.

And that, amigos, is Hank’s Jalopy Demons – dig it!
