Runner could be: 1:The Chicago based angular punk act Runner was formed originally in Dekalb, IL on the summer of 1999 by Pablo Gammeri (The Firebird Band, Horse and Rider) on guitar, Gabe on vocals, Brian Wnukowski (Haymarket Riot, The Cougars) on drums and Neil M. Keener (Planes Mistaken for Stars, Git Some) on bass.
Their unique blend of Discord-ish angularity with the proto-punk groove of bands like the MC5 may not have lasted for very long as the band disbanded in 2003 after a few nation-wide tours...

Breakcore producer based in Sydney, Australia. Formerly part of the now-defunct System:Corrupt collective. His hardcore influenced breakcore is known for exceeding speeds of 250bpm, a breakcore record. His work samples extensively from pop songs, ska and other electroacoustic genres. However unlike other artists who employ the popmash, he combines songs at breakneck speeds and with little concern for royalties owed to the artists he samples from. Some of his tracks can employ as many as 90 copyright protected songs over a five minute period.

Born in 2008, In Trenches began sprouting from the ashen soil of I Killed the Prom Queen and Day of Contempt.
Yet far from an extension of past efforts, the time dormant has let their resolve fester into an entirely more intense creature, still grounded in heavy hardcore, but earthier, dirtier and spitting discordance.
Misshapen riffs twist as if trying to escape before being shattered into an abrasive breakdown, or a moment of ambient clarity.

Atlantis Awaits
