Day of Contempt

Day of Contempt were a metalcore band from Adelaide, South Australia. Formed in 1997, they became an integral part of the burgeoning Adelaide underground hardcore scene before gaining widespread recognition and respect on a national scale. After releasing two cassette demos and a pair of EPs (Where Shadows Lie and See Through the Lies), as well as undertaking countless tours across Australia, USA, Europe and Japan, Day of Contempt relocated in mid-2004 to the Los Angeles/Orange County area. Signing with Epitaph, the band released one further EP, 2005's The Will to Live.

Heavy Heavy Low Low

San Jose, California based HeavyHeavyLowLow was formed in 2004, and gained notoriety largely through word of mouth, internet hype and extensive touring. The quintet consisted of vocalist Robbie Smith, guitarists Ryan Madden and Danny Rankin, and brothers Chris and Andrew Fritter (drums and bass, respectively). Their album "Everything's Watched, Everyone's Watching", an eleven song session of metal/thrash/hardcore/grindcore recordings, was released on New Weathermen records, an imprint of Ferret, in September of 2006.

In Trenches

Born in 2008, In Trenches began sprouting from the ashen soil of I Killed the Prom Queen and Day of Contempt.
Yet far from an extension of past efforts, the time dormant has let their resolve fester into an entirely more intense creature, still grounded in heavy hardcore, but earthier, dirtier and spitting discordance.
Misshapen riffs twist as if trying to escape before being shattered into an abrasive breakdown, or a moment of ambient clarity.

Antagonist is back with a new album and new name: Antagonist A.D. ElevenfiftySeven is proud to be releasing the new full length album We Are The Dead on the 6th of October in both New Zealand and Australia via Melbourne label Trial & Error. The Ghost Inside

The Ghost Inside is a melodic hardcore/metalcore band from South Bay, California. Their first release of "Now Or Never" on Mediaskare Records in 2006 was under their old name "A Dying Dream". With the name change occurring at the start of 2007, The Ghost Inside began to make their mark on the hardcore scene. April 15th 2008 marked the date when they released their debut full-length record titled "Fury and the Fallen Ones"

Thy Art Is Murder

Thy Art Is Murder is a five-piece deathcore band hailing from New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. They have a 2005 self released demo titled This Hole isn't Deep Enough and a 2008 EP released under Skull And Bones Records titled Infinite Death. In July of 2010, they released their debut full-length album The Adversary in Australia and to iTunes.
Thy Art is Murder is categorized by their extreme sound, so heavy it is on the border of grindcore and technical deathcore. Their sound is centered around their exceedingly fast drum beats and a tag-team of down tuned guitars.

Deviant

There is more than one artist with this name: 1)DEVIANT from Denver, CO USA. The meshing of rock guitar riffs, electronic melodies, and driving industrial drums were the initial factors behind the building of the electro-rock trio, Deviant. Formed in 2002 by vocalist/lyricist London, multi-talented musicians D' MacKinnon and Marcus "Daisho" Wilkerson, Deviant immediately garnered a local following in Denver after their first live performances and album release.
