Afrojack

Afrojack, aka Nick van de Wall is a Dutch DJ from Spijkenisse. He has gone from strength to strength since starting his own label Wall Recordings back in 2007 which soon accelerated a collection of quality releases from "Don't Be" to "Proper Introduction" and "Thief". In his field, Afrojack soon became considered as a genius producer and embarked on a series of collaborations with international artists such as David Guetta, Diplo, Kid Cudi, Laidback Luke and Steve Angelo to name but a few.

Claude VonStroke

Claude VonStroke is a tech-house/electro-house producer based in San Francisco, California. "Claude VonStroke" is better known to locals as Barclay Crenshaw, the owner of San Francisco's avant-house label, dirtybird. The Dirtybird label consists of Crenshaw (VonStroke) fellow producer Justin Martin, and a wide assortment of top remixers from around the globe such as John Tejada, Sammy D, Jesse Rose, and Frankie. In 2005, Dirtybird released a series of daring and creative singles that were played by everyone from Richie Hawtin to Damian Lazarus and received top marks from all the DJ magazines.

Holy Ghost!

Holy Ghost! is a DJ duo from Brooklyn, NY, formed by Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser of the now-defunct group Automato. They are currently signed to DFA and have released a 12" single. They also recently received some great promotion when their track Hold On was selected as iTunes Store Free Single of the Week in December 2007. During 2008 the boys have remixed Moby's I Love To Move In Here (Holy Ghost! Remix Edit), MGMT's Of Moons, Birds & Monsters (Holy Ghost remix) and Cut Copy's Hearts on Fire, amongst others, to great success.

A full decade after the release of 'Homework', and 8 years after Oizo broke through, Busy P (Pedro Winter) is the head of one of the most exciting record labels in the business. But for 11 years (and counting) Busy P has been handling Ed Banger and Headbanger, his management/media company. Oddly though, Busy explained that the method behind starting Ed Banger Records was fairly straightforward. Sound Of Stereo is 2 guys from Brussels, Belgium. We met two years ago on an internet community where we were diggin' the same music. We started talking and came to the conclusion that we lived only a few miles away from each other. I - Jochen - was already doing some production work and my partner in crime - Vincent - was already deejaying in the neighbourhood. We were both quite good at what we did, but we didn't have a way to promote ourselves. That changed when we decided to do stuff together.

The brainchild of Beni G (Mixologists) and Plus One (Scratch Perverts), Jack Beats represent part of the new wave of British house music. Wobbly basslines, big breakdowns and edgy accapella’s are cut, copied and pasted together to create a floor-filling brand of house. Citing influences as diverse as Timbaland, Rage Against the Machine, A Guy Called Gerald and SebastiAn, this British duo demanded our immediate attention after their gob-smacking take on Boy 8-Bit’s anthem Fogbank dropped earlier this year.
