Henri Tomasi

Henri Tomasi (August 17, 1901 – January 13, 1971) was a French classical composer and conductor. Henri Tomasi was born in Marseille, France, in the working class neighborhood on August 17, 1901. His father Xavier Tomasi and mother Josephine Vincensi were originally from La Casinca, Corsica. At the age of five, Henri and his family moved to Mazarques, France where his father had a job as a postal worker. At this time his father enrolled Henri in music theory lessons. At the age of seven, Henri entered the Conservatoire de Musique de Marseille.

Yann Tiersen

Yann Tiersen (born June 23, 1970 in Brest, Brittany, France) has been honing his musical aesthetic since he could stand on two legs. He started learning piano at the age of four, taking up violin at the age of six and receiving classical training at musical academies in Rennes, Nantes and Boulogne. Then, at the age of 13, he chose to alter his destiny, breaking his violin into pieces, buying a guitar and forming a rock band.

1) Swindle is a grime producer from the UK, he has released on several labels such as Planet Mu and Butterz, his most successful song so far has been Airmiles released on Planet Mu. 2) Swindle was formed in 1994 by 4 friends who wanted to create loud fast music and start something new in an almost dormant hardcore punk scene in San Diego at that time. Breakbot aka Thibaut Berland is a French producer and DJ born in 1981. After studying at the School of Graphic Supinfocom, he made short films (with Oury Atlan and Damien Ferrié called Overtime), advertisings and videos (David Hallyday - Satellite, Peter von Poehl - The Story of the Impossible). Pulsar

The legendary French space-rock group. On their debut "Pollen" the media had promoted them as the French Pink Floyd, though they were a lot more original than that would suggest, with much use of flute and electronics. They had a uniquely French sound. PULSAR’s third album, issued in 1977, "Halloween" (a conceptual "horror-rock" symphonic opus) is generally considered as one of the ten best symphonic albums in the world. A masterpiece of refinement. Definitely indispensable for all progressive rock fans!
