The Josh Owen Band have seen both their debut independent live album and studio EP receive massive critical acclaim and airplay all over Australia, including Triple J, Triple R, PBS, FBI, ABC 702 and 774, Dig Radio, RTR to name a few. Funkadelic was originally the backing band for the doo wop group, The Parliaments. The band was added in 1964, primarily for tours, and consisted of Frankie Boyce, Richard Boyce and Langston Booth. Chrome Hoof are an experimental orchestra based in London, England. The group was formed in 2000 by Cathedral bassist Leo Smee and his brother Milo Smee. Initially performing as a duo, their music was mostly electronic. Since the start, however, the group have continuously recruited new members playing various instruments. As of 2007, the group have about ten members and instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, bassoon, violin, guitars, bass and drums.
