The Quarters

The Quarters are a three piece Rock 'n Roll band from the home of rock; Melbourne, Australia. After a year of playing smaller local venues, The Quarters have been in and out of several different recording studios with new and improved orginals everytime. They are currently preparing to record a full length and take it on the road. The Quarters were handpicked (lube included) by Grinspoon to support them as well as Gyroscope, Little Birdy, The Butterfly Effect and more at Breakout Festival '07. The crowd at Festival Hall saw Stephanie's underwear everytime she bent down.

Georgia Fair

Jordan and Ben first became mates when their mutual passion, in exploring and writing new music, yearned to be shared. When not playing and writing, they were raiding their father’s album collections for inspiration and direction. With the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Crowded House and Simon and Garfunkel they were in good stead for the future. Also drawing from contemporary artists such as Fleet Foxes, Angus Stone & Bon Iver they have developed a great, fresh sound.

Nick Zinner

Nick Zinner is a mostly known as guitarist for several bands and projects,
most notably for Yeah Yeah Yeahs. He plays in Head Wound City, a hardcore punk project with members of Blood Brothers and The Locust, recorded several guitar parts for TV on the Radio, supports Bright Eyes on stage and remixed songs for Bloc Party amongst others.
His also an avid contemporary photographer. His photography work has also been published in the books "I Hope You Are All Happy Now", "Slept In Beds", "No Seats on the Party Car", and "Please Take Me Off the Guest List".

Karen O

Karen Lee Orzolek, better known as Karen O, is the lead vocalist for the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. She also performs as Karen O and the Kids. She was born on November 22, 1978 in South Korea. Karen's mother is Korean and father is Polish. Karen grew up in New Jersey, went to Dwight-Englewood high school, and attended Oberlin College, but transferred to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Zeahorse are a band based in Sydney, Australia. They originally formed in Lismore, NSW. The members are:

Basement Birds

Basement Birds is an Australian indie supergroup comprised of Kavyen Temperley (Eskimo Joe's frontman and bassist), Steve Parkin (solo singer/songwriter), Kevin Mitchell (musician) (Jebediah, Bob Evans frontman) and solo singer/songwriter Josh Pyke. The groups' mutual love of lush vocal harmonies and alt-country style was the basis for forming the Basement Birds project. "Luckily we all seem to have fairly similar tastes in music, I think it'd be harder if we had someone who was into death metal and another into jazz fusion.

Lakyn Heperi

Lakyn Heperi is a semi-pro skateboarder who transformed into a singer/songwriter after a broken ankle kept him off his board for 8 months. Lakyn started playing every day, not because he was aiming for anything in particular, but because it allowed him to express his frustration after the accident.
He recorded his music in his bedroom and put it up online and is now a YouTube sensation with tens of thousands of followers.
