Blaze Bayley (Bayley Alexander Cook), is an English heavy metal singer/song writer, born 29th of May, 1963. He is best known for his time in Iron Maiden (1994 - 1999), replacing Bruce Dickinson as lead vocalist. Before he joined Iron Maiden he sang in a rock band by the name of Wolfsbane, a band that had achieved legendary status in their hometown of Tamworth in the early 1990's.

High on Fire's sound is extremely heavy, drawing influences from the aforementioned Sleep, Motörhead, and even hardcore punk. The Oakland, California band formed in 1998 and released 'The Art of Self Defense' on Man's Ruin Records, in March 2000.

BAND HISTORY “Abortus” (Now Known as HERRATIK) started out in mid 1998 & introduced a new brand of Death/Thrash Metal into the Sydney Metal Scene. From mid 98 to Early 99, the band recorded some Demo’s, went through line up changes, & then in Early 99 “Abortus” was ready to play live, with a tight & secure line-up. Throughout early 1999 the band built up a strong following & the fans were demanding an official release. So in mid 1999 “Abortus recorded their Debut CD “Judge Me Not”, & released it in August 1999.
