Seether

Seether is a post-grunge band which formed in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999. The band currently consists of Shaun Morgan (vocals, guitar), Dale Stewart (bass, vocals) and John Humphrey (drums). The band has released six albums and is currently signed to Wind-Up Records in the United States. Early days, Fragile, Disclaimer The band was originally called Saron Gas, but changed their name to Seether.

MM9

MM9 (also known as Many Machines On Nine) formed in 1998, first brought their brand of hard-edged electro-rock to the stages of their hometown of Sydney, Australia and created a groundswell of support that has firmly established them as one of Australia's premier touring acts. Equally at home playing traditional rock venues, mainstream music festivals, dance clubs, or massive underground rave parties; MM9 is a band whose versatility is matched only by the sheer potency of their stage presence.

Birds of Tokyo

It’s no secret that the landscape of Birds of Tokyo’s home of Western Australia; a desert-like state so vast and unforgiving that to provide it with a soundtrack requires a higher level of grandeur and majesty one would ever dare associate with the ‘pop’ music tag. But, down to its bones, pop music is what Birds of Tokyo write… they just layer those bones in muscle, and give the beast a heart.

Urge Overkill

Urge Overkill are an alternative rock band from Chicago that attracted underground attention in the late 80s and early 90s. While their ironic reshaping of 70's arena and glam rock left them marginalized during the height of grunge, they managed to appear on the charts with their cover of the Neil Diamond classic "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon" from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack, which hit #50 on the US Charts, and #11 on the Modern Rock charts.

Fading Hour

Fading Hour is emerging as one of the most promising young bands to hit the Australian music scene. Their sound is dynamic, distinct and lucid, showing influences by everyone from Incubus, Tool, Dredg and Porcupine Tree to likes of Chevelle, Disturbed and The Deftones. Their music is an amalgamation of genres which can best be described as progressive melodic and heavy rock. The Melbourne four piece originally formed back in 2005, when guitarist Peter and drummer Shannon teamed up with Michael on vocals and Jono on bass.

The band is fronted by a voice from the past declaring its yearning for the future. A State of Flux

A State of Flux is a band determined to push the boundaries of modern alternative rock. Their musical style is original, intense, progressive & brooding, falling somewhere in the vast musical landscape between bands such as Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, Kate Bush & Tool. A State of Flux was born in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia when vocalist Roni Shewan put her vocal ideas onto a series of songs written by producer Red Black.

Young Guns

The home-grown production line has been in overdrive of late in the rock world, and High Wycombe-based quintet, Young Guns, are proof that it’s showing no signs of fatigue. Their four track debut EP, ‘Mirrors’, has been produced by former SikTh members Dan Weller and Justin Hill (Enter Shikari, Haunts, Gallows), and covers a host of subjects, from party-induced-excess and temptation, to adolescent aspirations and dependency, and all this in little more than 16 minutes.

There is more than one band/artist with this name: 1. dEUS are an alternative/experimental rock band based in Antwerp, Belgium, with different line-ups, but always including singer and guitarist Tom Barman and Klaas Janszoons playing the violin and keyboard. Many musicians became well-known after having been members of dEUS: Stef-Kamil Carlens (Moondog Jr., Zita Swoon), Rudy Trouvé (Kiss My Jazz), Danny Mommens (Vive la Fête), Craig Ward (The Love Substitutes), Jules de Borgher and Tim Vanhamel (Millionaire, solo).
