The Silents is a four-piece band from Perth, Western Australia. Benjamin Stowe and Jamie Terry began writing and recording music heavily influenced by early sixties psychedelic and beat music in the second half of 2002. In September 2003, Stowe watched friend Sam Ford’s band perform at a local Perth hotel and, after the show, asked if both Ford and drummer Alex Board would be interested in joining he and Terry to form a band.

The Beginning (1992-1993) Weezer formed on February 14, 1992, in Los Angeles, California by Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Matt Sharp, and Jason Cropper, who was later replaced by Brian Bell.
Miles Kane (born 17th March 1986) is an English musician. He is best known for sharing lead responsibilities and writing with Alex Turner in their side-project The Last Shadow Puppets. He also was part of the bands The Rascals and The Little Flames before he recently decided to start a solo career. "Colour of The Trap", his debut album will be released on Monday 9th May. Kane is the cousin of James Skelly of The Coral.
There are two artists named The Ancients. 1. The Ancients is a band from Melbourne, Australia whose one constant member is songwriter Jonathan Michell, also known from his work in Breaking The Law and Mum Smokes. Other members are Mark Rodda, Raquel Solier, and Georgina Ward. In the past, the group has variously included Henry Krips (of Wagons), Dimitrios Constantaridis, Simon Francis (also Wagons), Chris Smith and Jesse Jackson Shepherd. Gung-Ho is a US television sitcom that originally aired on NBC from July 5, 1989, to May 14, 1998, lasting nine seasons, and is now in syndication. The eponymous band was created by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld, with the latter starring as a fictionalized version of himself. Set predominantly in an apartment block on Manhattan's Upper West Side (but shot mainly in Los Angeles), the band features a host of Jerry's friends and acquaintances, including George Costanza, Elaine Benes and Cosmo Kramer.
Manchester Orchestra is an indie rock band which formed in Atlanta, Georgia, United States in 2005. The group is currently composed of rhythm guitarist-singer-songwriter Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, keyboardist and percussionist Chris Freeman, bassist Jonathan Corley and drummer Tim Very. Former drummer Jeremiah Edmond parted ways with the band in January 2010 to focus on his family as well as running the band's record label, Favorite Gentlemen.
The Rational Academy are a noise/pop band based in Brisbane, Australia since 2004. After a slew of 7" vinyl EP's and compilation appearances they released their debut album in 2008 to international acclaim. Produced by Lawrence English, "A Heart Against Your Own" married the Academy's pop leanings and guitar heavy approach with avante garde and experimental interests. There are, at least, four artist known by this name. 1) A collaborative project between singer-songwriter Sascha Gottschalk (voice & guitar) & Extended Spirit. So far they're best known for contributions to the 'Secret Love compilations', as conceived by Jazzanova & resoul (Soultrade Record Store). They have also collaborated with Clara Hill, Andre Zimma & Airmate. After two singles (SK125 and SK129), their début album is expected soon.
Marnie Stern is a New York City, USA musician, songwriter and guitarist. She has garnered much acclaim for her technical skill and finger-tapping style of guitar play.
