The Summer Set

The Summer Set is a pop rock/powerpop band from Scottsdale, Arizona that formed in 2007. TSS is signed on the Militia Group and released their first EP on September 30th, 2008 titled “…In Color”. In December of 2008 The Summer Set realeased their EP “Meet Me On The Left Coast” which inculded their Christmas single, “Love By Our Side”, a b-side titled “Can You Find Me” and an Usher cover, “Love In This Club” as a bonus track. The Summer Set announced in April 2009 that they were heading into the studio to record their debut album, “Love Like This” which was released on October 13th, 2009.

(2): A power pop band based in Seattle active in the early 90s.
(3): The Holidays were a Detroit group who are remembered for a record, "I'll Love You Forever," (1966) that their members didn't even appear on. Edwin Starr sang lead and J.J.

Ratcat

Ratcat were an Australian indie rock band of the late 1980s and early 1990s fronted by Simon Day. Their combination of indie pop songwriting and energetic punk-style guitar won them fans from both the indie and skate-punk communities. Ratcat formed in 1986 in Sydney and were a mainstay of that city's live music scene until they were eventually signed to Waterfront Records where they released a self-titled EP, several singles ("I Think I Love You", "Baby's Got A Gun") and their debut album, This Nightmare in 1989. Another EP, Killing Joke, and another single, "Saying Goodbye" followed.

There are at least 2 bands called The Moderns. 1. Mod Revival band from Sweden (1979-1981) 2. Garage rock band from Australia. Samuel John Rees fronting the band, Willi Hamilton wielding a 335 high in the air, Andre Franco slapping the bass and Swanny hitting the hell out of his skins; The Moderns are dirty Gold Coast rockers who are fast becoming the best live rock band in Australia. After playing their first show in September of 2007, the four of them can now be found loudly unleashing their flavour at every divey dingey club on every corner of every town.

Kids In Glass Houses are a five-piece rock band from Cardiff, South Wales, United Kingdom. The band formed in 2003 and signed with Roadrunner Records in December 2007. Kids In Glass Houses currently comprises vocalist Aled Phillips, guitarists Joel Fisher and Iain Mahanty, bassist Andrew Shay, and drummer Philip Jenkins. Forever the Sickest Kids is an American rock band from Dallas, Texas, who are currently signed to Universal Motown Records Group. In issue 228 of Alternative Press, the group was named the number one underground band in the "22 Best Underground Bands (That Likely Won't Stay Underground for Long)". Their first EP, Television Off, Party On, was released on July 3, 2007 Their second EP, a split release with critically acclaimed pop punk band The Tattle-Tales, was released on February 14, 2008. Their debut album, Underdog Alma Mater, was later released on April 29, 2008.

Matt and Kim

Matt & Kim are an alternative punk/dance duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson (guitar/vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/vocals). Their simple, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial local following and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube and MySpace. The group had sprung from the record label and media group "Iheartcomix", which released their first full-length, self-titled CD in October, 2006.
