D.O.A.

1) Vancouver's D.O.A. were an early and extremely influential punk rock band. Formed in 1978, they quickly got down to business by releasing the Disco Sucks EP on singer/guitarist Joey Shithead's own Sudden Death label. Along with other early pioneers, they blazed the trail to a North American punk scene by putting out records and touring with virtually no existing 'scene' infrastructure to rely on. Early shows included clashes with audience members and police, and they can attest that police riots at punk shows were not strictly an LA occurrence.

Original members are Jamie Klimek (guitars, vocals) and Paul Marotta (bass, keys) plus drummer Paul Laurence. 2) Mirrors were a 1978 Japanese punk band that released two 7''s titled 'Shogeki X' (1978) & 'Out Of Order' (1979). The song is featured on a Japanese compilation named Crack!.

Chaingang

Chaingang is a group of three dudes and one dudette from Sydney, Australia. We've been making music together for two years and are currently finishing off some new tunes for our debut release coming out later this year. So far, we've played with some amazing bands, met a lot of fabulous people, recorded and played shows in the US, survived a real car crash as well as many metaphorical ones on our rocky road to international super-stardom. The only band all four of us love is Faith No More, but we can only dream of making music that majestic.

The Meanies

The Meanies got together in Melbourne, Australia in 1989 and immediately made a name for themselves with a succession of sold out 7" singles on the Augogo label. They continued the relationship with Augogo (home to Australian groups like Magic Dirt, Scientists and Spiderbait) with the EP "Gangrenous" and the album Come 'n' See in 1991. In this time The Meanies had established themselves as one of Australia's pre-eminent underground rock bands through cultivating a huge all-age following and upsetting the rock establishment by breaking attendance records in the nation's capital cities.
