There are three artists with the name Bob Evans. 1. Kevin Mitchell (born 1 October 1976), is a pop musician from Fremantle, Australia, most famous for his role as vocalist/guitarist for the band Jebediah. Mitchell often performs his solo work under the pseudonym of Bob Evans. He has released three albums under this name, the first being Suburban Kid, which was released in 2003. It was released on Redline Records, and was not widely available. Whilst all the tracks were written by Kevin Mitchell, one song, "The Hermit", was co-written by Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson.

Louisiana-bred, Brooklyn-based recording artist Julianna Barwick crafts ethereal, largely wordless soundscapes, all of which are built around multiple loops and layers of her angelic voice. Barwick, who credits a rural, church choir upbringing for her unique sound, begins most tracks with a single phrase or refrain, then uses a loop station and the occasional piano or percussive instrument to build the song into a swirling mass of lush, ambient folk.

Justin Townes Earle walks the line between old time country and modern acoustic Indie music by breathing new life into Early country, blues and gospel forms. His first release, Yuma, was a stark and beautiful set of songs written while Earle was fresh out of rehab and is now re-released by Bloodshot Records, who have a further three albums on their catalogue.
