Playjerise

Featuring the unique talents of Jake Nauta and Daniel Georgiou, Playjerise are an acoustic duo hailing from the Blue Mountains, Sydney. The band have a new album as of 2009 titled "Better Life", while their previous albumette, "Cross The Line" was released in 2006. Over the years, the pair have performed to appreciative audiences at Hillsong Conferences, RICE Conferences, The Big Exo Day, Blackstump and Sonfest festivals, whilst recieving radio airplay on Triple J, Nova, FBI and FRESH FM 103.2.

Josh Owen Band

The Josh Owen Band have seen both their debut independent live album and studio EP receive massive critical acclaim and airplay all over Australia, including Triple J, Triple R, PBS, FBI, ABC 702 and 774, Dig Radio, RTR to name a few. Save Me Save Me was recently voted 1 on Triple J’s Unearthed Roots chart, and SonyBMG have selected Save Me Save Me as one of their Hottest Picks in the current voting round of the UncharTED online band comp.

Ashley Naylor

Ashley Naylor is best known as the vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter for the Australian mod/pop group Even who have recorded four albums and numerous EPs and singles since the mid-'90s. While Even encompass all of the best aspects of the heavier side of the mid-'60s British Invasion (think The Who, The Kinks, The Move, Rolling Stones c. 1964-66) and more recent purveyors of that sound such as The La's, Stone Roses, and Oasis; Naylor's solo debut is more sublime, bringing to styles of vintage Neil Young and the Rolling Stones when Keith Richards was hanging around with Gram Parsons.

Harry Manx

Harry Manx is a musician who blends blues, folk, and Hindustani classical music. Born on the Isle of Man and raised in Ontario, he is currently living on Saltspring Island, BC, Canada. He plays slide guitar, harmonica, six-string banjo, cigar-box guitar and the Mohan Veena (a 20-stringed guitar/sitar hybrid). He studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. John Smith

There are at least three artists called John Smith: 1. John Smith is an up and coming guitar player and singer from Devon. His technical adventurousness and passion as a live performer have secured him support slots with John Martyn amongst others. His debut album (2007), The Fox and the Monk was followed up by the 2009 release Map or Direction. 2. John Smith is a Canadian emcee with releases on Peanuts & Corn Records. After the first release, Blunderbus, which met with critical acclaim, came School Day 2 Garbage Day 4 (2000) with mcenroe and DJ Hunnicutt (as Park-Like Setting).

Ben Howard

Ben Howard (born 24 May 1988) is an English singer-songwriter, born in London. He moved to Totnes, Devon, in his teens. Howard's musically-inclined parents exposed him at a young age to their favourite records from singer-songwriter artists such as Bob Dylan, Nina Simone and John Martyn. Howard began writing his own songs and after a short spell studying journalism, he decided in 2009 at the age of 21 to become a full-time musician.

Jamie Hutchings

Enigmatic songwriter and front man for Bluebottle Kiss, Jamie Hutchings is also a solo artist and producer. The son of professional jazz musician, Jamie was born, grew up and continues to live in Sydney, Australia. Fifteen years of leading one of Australia's most consistently creative and critically acclaimed rock bands, Bluebottle Kiss, saw Jamie Hutchings write and release over 130 songs. During that time the band relentlessly toured the country, the US and Europe playing with bands as diverse as Beck, Midnight Oil and Dinosaur Jr .

Vin Garbutt

Vin Garbutt (born in South Bank, Middlesbrough, United Kingdom), though second generation Irish, is an English folk singer and songwriter. A signifant part of his repertoire consists of protest songs covering topics such as "the Troubles" in Northern Ireland (Troubles of Erin), unemployment, and abortion. At the age of 21, in 1969, he threw caution to the winds and became a professional musician. Armed with the rich repertoire of songs he had amassed, he spent the first summer busking his way around the bars of Spain's Mediterranean coast, and on to Morocco via Gibraltar.
