Active Child is the project of Pat Grossi, resident of Los Angeles, native of New Jersey. Inspired by his days as a choir boy and epic nights as a member of the band Weight Room, Grossi combines his soaring vocals and crunching analogue synths with the honey drip drop of echoing harps. The Cavalcade

There are multiple bands that go by the name of Cavalcade. 1.The Cavalcade are an indie pop band from the rain-swept town of Preston in the north of England, inspired by bands such as Felt, The Clientele and The Field Mice. Formed in 2009, they released their debut EP, Meet You In The Rain, in May of that year. Grouper

Grouper is the solo project for ambient musician Liz Harris, of Portland, Oregon. Harris' music is a mixture of softly-strummed guitar, Wurlitzer keys, and her delicate, dreamy vocals, all of which are heavily drenched in reverb. Harris’ first album was 2005’s Grouper, a self-released full-length CD-R, followed later that year by Way Their Crept on Free Porcupine (re-released in 2007 on Type Records). Other recordings include 2006's He Knows, released as a 3" CD, the 12" Weird Forest release Wide in 2007, and a 7" called Tried.

I've never tried to mask my unbridled desire for the Jewelled Antler Collective - these San Francisco-based forest dwellers have managed to do something quite magical in them there woods, and make psychedelic folk music (free folk, new weird America, whatever) sound simply irresistible. I don't know what it is really, maybe it's the guiding hand of Thuja-member and founder of the whole thing Loren Chasse, who appears here as the spiritual frontman of Softwar.

Made In China

This page represents several different artists/bands using the name Made in China 1) Made in China was a post-hardcore\neocrust band from Moscow, Russia. The band disbanded in the fall of '09. Former members of the band formed post-metal outfit Cikuta. 2) Made in China (or Maiden China according to some) is four piece Prunk (mix of Prog and Funk) band, hailing from Omagh, N. Ireland. At the moment the band is on a hiatus as three members of the band go to university in a foreign land. However the band regularly reunites for the holidays to play gigs in and around Omagh.

Hands Like Houses

Hands Like Houses is a rock group from Canberra, ACT, Australia which recently changed it's name from So Long Safety. The band is renowned for it's live performances and sophisticated musical style, garnering the group a large following in the Canberra area. As So Long Safety the group released one EP entitled "Bear in Mind, I'm a Lion" and were highly ranked on alternative radio station Triple J's Unearthed competition.
