Daniel Merriweather

Daniel Paul Merriweather, born February 17th 1982 in Melbourne, Victoria is an Australian R&B singer/songwriter. His first commercially released recording was a guest appearance on the track "All I Want" from Australian dance act Disco Montego's self-titled album in 2002. In 2007 Daniel Merriweather put his voice to Mark Ronson's "Stop Me" (cover of The Smiths track) which reached #2 on the UK singles charts, and also co-wrote and featured on Wiley's third single, from his fourth album, Cash In My Pocket which reached #18 on the UK singles chart.

The Transatlantics

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, The Transatlantics are an eight-piece deep funk and soul outfit inspired by the great soul performers of the late 60's and early 70's. The Transatlantics have played support to the likes of Roy Ayers (USA), Eddie Bo (USA), Russ Dewbury (UK), Ohmega Watts (USA), Nick RecordKicks (Italy), Nostalgia 77 (UK), The Bamboos (Melb) and in 2009 have appeared at major festivals including the Big Day Out, Parklife and Playground Weekender. They have released two 7" singles and have a debut album due for release in September 2009.

She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. N.E.R.D

N.E.R.D (No One Ever Really Dies) is a funk rock, alternative rock and alternative hip hop band formed in 2001. Their music is best described as funk rock, with various other influences, including hip hop, R&B, soul, alternative rock, and blues. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo met in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the ages of 12 at a summer camp for musicians, which they both disliked. They spent their free time making beats and performing in groups with fellow childhood friend Timbaland. Shay Haley began performing with Williams and Hugo in high school.

Space Invadas

Space Invadas is duo from Australia: Katalyst - a Sydney-based award winning producer signed to BBE & Invada Records, and from the UK, Steve Spacek - the acclaimed voice behind the ground-breaking genre-pushing group Spacek (championed by everyone from Entertainment Weekly to Mos Def). Their award winning collaboration, "How Bout Us" was one of Gilles Peterson's top 20 tracks of 2008. Their forthcoming album is entitled "Soul-Fi".

Cyco Miko

Mike Muir (born March 14, 1964 in Venice, California) is the singer for Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. He has also released albums under his nickname Cyco Miko and has sung for No Mercy, replacing original singer Kevin Guercio, who sang for the band on the Welcome to Venice compilation. Cyco Miko released two albums on the record label Suicidal Records. The album Schizophrenic Born Again Problem Child was released in 2001, following up 1996's Lost My Brain! (Once Again) (which featured Sex Pistols's Steve Jones and future Velvet Revolver Dave Kushner).

Generation Gap

Generation Gap(1995 -1996) was the old band of Alex Band(it was his second band) and Aaron Kamin(both from The Calling) when they began playing together. The band consisted of Alex Band(15), Aaron Kamin(19), a 58 year old drummer and a 40 year old bassguitarist. The huge difference in ages obviously was the reason for the bandname.
When Alex Band and Aaron Kamin got a record deal with RCA Records, the band split up. The Demo Cd consisted of 5 tracks;

Allen Toussaint

Allen Toussaint (born January 14, 1938) is an American musician, songwriter and record producer and one of the most influential figures in New Orleans R&B who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. In the 1960s and 1970s, he was a prolific writer, producer and arranger, creating numerous hits for a variety of artists including Lee Dorsey, Robert Palmer, The Showmen, The Meters, Betty Wright, Solomon Burke and Willie West. He produced material for Dr John, LaBelle, Chocolate Milk and Aaron Neville amongst many more.
